उदी॑राथामृताय॒ते यु॒ञ्जाथा॑मश्विना॒ रथ॑म् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑
udīrāthāmṛtāyate yuñjāthāmaśvinā ratham anti ṣadbhūtu vāmavaḥ
Rise to immortality, harness the chariot, Ashvins; may tenfold strength be with the twain.

With an unblinking eye, O Ashvins, make the chariot quick, you who bring life; may tenfold strength be with the twain.

kuha sthaḥ kuha jagmathuḥ kuha śyeneva petathuḥ anti ṣadbhūtu vāmavaḥ
They stirred the foam, they reached the foam, as a falcon seized prey; may six-fold blessing be yours.

Whenever and wherever I have heard this invoked, may six-fold blessing be yours.

Hear this prayer, O he who has come here with strong vigour; may six-fold blessing be yours.

Why does this of yours blossom like ancient, rusted metal? May six-fold blessing be yours.

The town was not grasped; it was struck by dark distress and the plague; may six-fold blessing be yours.
