आ वा॑यो भूष शुचिपा॒ उप॑ नः स॒हस्रं॑ ते नि॒युतो॑ विश्ववार । उपो॑ ते॒ अन्धो॒ मद्य॑मयामि॒ यस्य॑ देव दधि॒षे पू॑र्व॒पेय॑म्
ā vāyo bhūṣa śucipā upa naḥ sahasraṃ te niyuto viśvavāra upo te andho madyamayāmi yasya deva dadhiṣe pūrvapeyam
O Vāyu, adorn and purify us; grant us a thousandfold blessing, you who govern the universe. I pour the middle and sacred draught for you whose god receives the ancient offering.

प्र सोता॑ जी॒रो अ॑ध्व॒रेष्व॑स्था॒त्सोम॒मिन्द्रा॑य वा॒यवे॒ पिब॑ध्यै । प्र यद्वां॒ मध्वो॑ अग्रि॒यं भर॑न्त्यध्व॒र्यवो॑ देव॒यन्तः॒ शची॑भिः
pra sotā jīro adhvareṣvasthātsomamindrāya vāyave pibadhyai pra yadvāṃ madhvo agriyaṃ bharantyadhvaryavo devayantaḥ śacībhiḥ
Bring forth the streaming juice in the outposts, established for Soma, for Indra and Vāyu to drink. May your meads bear the foremost flames, the attendants of the gods, adorned with splendour.

प्र याभि॒र्यासि॑ दा॒श्वांस॒मच्छा॑ नि॒युद्भि॑र्वायवि॒ष्टये॑ दुरो॒णे । नि नो॑ र॒यिं सु॒भोज॑सं युवस्व॒ नि वी॒रं गव्य॒मश्व्यं॑ च॒ राधः॑
pra yābhiryāsi dāśvāṃsamacchā niyudbhirvāyaviṣṭaye duroṇe ni no rayiṃ subhojasaṃ yuvasva ni vīraṃ gavyamaśvyaṃ ca rādhaḥ
By whose generous gifts you yoked ten horses and yoked others for the chariot—appointed to the swift one in the hard course. Grant us the good grazing, the strong young bulls, the cow and the steed, and the plundered spoil.

ये वा॒यव॑ इन्द्र॒माद॑नास॒ आदे॑वासो नि॒तोश॑नासो अ॒र्यः । घ्नन्तो॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सू॒रिभिः॑ ष्याम सास॒ह्वांसो॑ यु॒धा नृभि॑र॒मित्रा॑न्
ye vāyava indramādanāsa ādevāso nitośanāso aryaḥ ghnanto vṛtrāṇi sūribhiḥ ṣyāma sāsahvāṃso yudhā nṛbhiramitrān
They who conquered Indra and Vāyu, who subdued the gods, the Aryas — slaying Vr̥tra with heroes, the bold ones fought with men and friends.

आ नो॑ नि॒युद्भिः॑ श॒तिनी॑भिरध्व॒रं स॑ह॒स्रिणी॑भि॒रुप॑ याहि य॒ज्ञम् । वायो॑ अ॒स्मिन्सव॑ने मादयस्व यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
ā no niyudbhiḥ śatinībhiradhvaraṃ sahasriṇībhirupa yāhi yajñam vāyo asminsavane mādayasva yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
May they, having yoked for us with hundreds and thousands, bring the offering, the sacrifice. Vāyu, in this assembly delight us; protect us with auspiciousness always.
