य ए॑नमा॒दिदे॑शति कर॒म्भादिति॑ पू॒षण॑म् । न तेन॑ दे॒व आ॒दिशे॑
ya enamādideśati karambhāditi pūṣaṇam na tena deva ādiśe
He who names Pūṣan as the wielder of the mighty hand, calling him from the plough—by him the gods were not appointed.

उ॒त घा॒ स र॒थीत॑मः॒ सख्या॒ सत्प॑तिर्यु॒जा । इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जिघ्नते
uta ghā sa rathītamaḥ sakhyā satpatiryujā indro vṛtrāṇi jighnate
As when the well-wheeled chariot drove forth, O Indra, the noble lord of comrades slew Vṛtra.

उ॒तादः प॑रु॒षे गवि॒ सूर॑श्च॒क्रं हि॑र॒ण्यय॑म् । न्यै॑रयद्र॒थीत॑मः
utādaḥ paruṣe gavi sūraścakraṃ hiraṇyayam nyairayadrathītamaḥ
And the strong, heroic one yoked the bulls, he set in motion the golden wheel; the chariot moved swiftly forth.

यद॒द्य त्वा॑ पुरुष्टुत॒ ब्रवा॑म दस्र मन्तुमः । तत्सु नो॒ मन्म॑ साधय
yadadya tvā puruṣṭuta bravāma dasra mantumaḥ tatsu no manma sādhaya
Today we will declare to you what we, the men, have spoken; accomplish for us that which we have in mind.

इ॒मं च॑ नो ग॒वेष॑णं सा॒तये॑ सीषधो ग॒णम् । आ॒रात्पू॑षन्नसि श्रु॒तः
imaṃ ca no gaveṣaṇaṃ sātaye sīṣadho gaṇam ārātpūṣannasi śrutaḥ
Make this search for cattle prosperous for us; O leader, set the herd in motion; Pūṣan, protect what is heard for us.

आ ते॑ स्व॒स्तिमी॑मह आ॒रेअ॑घा॒मुपा॑वसुम् । अ॒द्या च॑ स॒र्वता॑तये॒ श्वश्च॑ स॒र्वता॑तये
ā te svastimīmaha āreaghāmupāvasum adyā ca sarvatātaye śvaśca sarvatātaye
May there be well-being for you; may we be free from hostile blows; today and always, for all, may we and our kin be well.
