स॒द्यो ह॑ जा॒तो वृ॑ष॒भः क॒नीनः॒ प्रभ॑र्तुमाव॒दन्ध॑सः सु॒तस्य॑ । सा॒धोः पि॑ब प्रतिका॒मं यथा॑ ते॒ रसा॑शिरः प्रथ॒मं सो॒म्यस्य॑
sadyo ha jāto vṛṣabhaḥ kanīnaḥ prabhartumāvadandhasaḥ sutasya sādhoḥ piba pratikāmaṃ yathā te rasāśiraḥ prathamaṃ somyasya
Straightway was born the bull, the plunderer, to govern the swift-born son; drink, O Sadhah, the desired offering as the first juice of Somya.

यज्जाय॑था॒स्तदह॑रस्य॒ कामें॒ऽशोः पी॒यूष॑मपिबो गिरि॒ष्ठाम् । तं ते॑ मा॒ता परि॒ योषा॒ जनि॑त्री म॒हः पि॒तुर्दम॒ आसि॑ञ्च॒दग्रे॑
yajjāyathāstadaharasya kāmeṃ'śoḥ pīyūṣamapibo giriṣṭhām taṃ te mātā pari yoṣā janitrī mahaḥ piturdama āsiñcadagre
What was born as that beloved—on its day they drank the nectar of desire, the richest juice of the dawn. May that mother grant you offspring; the great father poured the sacrificial offering before.

उ॒प॒स्थाय॑ मा॒तर॒मन्न॑मैट्ट ति॒ग्मम॑पश्यद॒भि सोम॒मूधः॑ । प्र॒या॒वय॑न्नचर॒द्गृत्सो॑ अ॒न्यान्म॒हानि॑ चक्रे पुरु॒धप्र॑तीकः
upasthāya mātaramannamaiṭṭa tigmamapaśyadabhi somamūdhaḥ prayāvayannacaradgṛtso anyānmahāni cakre purudhapratīkaḥ
Approaching, the mothers with food saw the sticky mass; the Soma-drunk beheld it. They passed on, wandering, and made other great deeds, the host towards the warrior’s standard.

उ॒ग्रस्तु॑रा॒षाळ॒भिभू॑त्योजा यथाव॒शं त॒न्वं॑ चक्र ए॒षः । त्वष्टा॑र॒मिन्द्रो॑ ज॒नुषा॑भि॒भूया॒मुष्या॒ सोम॑मपिबच्च॒मूषु॑
ugrasturāṣāḷabhibhūtyojā yathāvaśaṃ tanvaṃ cakra eṣaḥ tvaṣṭāramindro januṣābhibhūyāmuṣyā somamapibaccamūṣu
Mighty were the shafts and the prizes; as commanded he stretched forth. Tvashtr fashioned, Indra, strengthened by knees and thighs; they drank Soma and are joyful in rites.

शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम्
śunaṃ huvema maghavānamindramasminbhare nṛtamaṃ vājasātau śaṛṇvantamugramūtaye samatsu ghnantaṃ vṛtrāṇi saṃjitaṃ dhanānām
I invoke the giver of bounty, Indra, pouring forth praise in this sacrifice’s duet; hear the mighty call for the slaying of Vrtra, the vanquisher of wealth and foes.
