श्र॒द्धया॒ग्निः समि॑ध्यते श्र॒द्धया॑ हूयते ह॒विः । श्र॒द्धां भग॑स्य मू॒र्धनि॒ वच॒सा वे॑दयामसि
śraddhayāgniḥ samidhyate śraddhayā hūyate haviḥ śraddhāṃ bhagasya mūrdhani vacasā vedayāmasi
With faith Agni is kindled, with faith the oblation is poured. With faith, O Lord, on your brow we consecrate the word.

प्रि॒यं श्र॑द्धे॒ दद॑तः प्रि॒यं श्र॑द्धे॒ दिदा॑सतः । प्रि॒यं भो॒जेषु॒ यज्व॑स्वि॒दं म॑ उदि॒तं कृ॑धि
priyaṃ śraddhe dadataḥ priyaṃ śraddhe didāsataḥ priyaṃ bhojeṣu yajvasvidaṃ ma uditaṃ kṛdhi
Bestowing delight with faith, bestowing delight in gifts; grant delight in the feasts, perform this rising with devotion.

यथा॑ दे॒वा असु॑रेषु श्र॒द्धामु॒ग्रेषु॑ चक्रि॒रे । ए॒वं भो॒जेषु॒ यज्व॑स्व॒स्माक॑मुदि॒तं कृ॑धि
yathā devā asureṣu śraddhāmugreṣu cakrire evaṃ bhojeṣu yajvasvasmākamuditaṃ kṛdhi
As the gods acted among the Asuras, so used they faith among the mighty; thus in the feasts perform this rising of ours with devotion.

श्र॒द्धां दे॒वा यज॑माना वा॒युगो॑पा॒ उपा॑सते । श्र॒द्धां हृ॑द॒य्य१॒॑याकू॑त्या श्र॒द्धया॑ विन्दते॒ वसु॑
śraddhāṃ devā yajamānā vāyugopā upāsate śraddhāṃ hṛdayya1yākūtyā śraddhayā vindate vasu
The gods who worship with faith, offering breath and oblations, — faith finds a heart that is pure; by faith one attains riches (Vasu).

श्र॒द्धां प्रा॒तर्ह॑वामहे श्र॒द्धां म॒ध्यंदि॑नं॒ परि॑ । श्र॒द्धां सूर्य॑स्य नि॒म्रुचि॒ श्रद्धे॒ श्रद्धा॑पये॒ह नः॑
śraddhāṃ prātarhavāmahe śraddhāṃ madhyaṃdinaṃ pari śraddhāṃ sūryasya nimruci śraddhe śraddhāpayeha naḥ
We invoke faith at dawn, faith around midday; humble faith in the sun — may that faith protect us here.
