समि॑द्धश्चि॒त्समि॑ध्यसे दे॒वेभ्यो॑ हव्यवाहन । आ॒दि॒त्यै रु॒द्रैर्वसु॑भिर्न॒ आ ग॑हि मृळी॒काय॑ न॒ आ ग॑हि
samiddhaścitsamidhyase devebhyo havyavāhana ādityai rudrairvasubhirna ā gahi mṛḷīkāya na ā gahi
Kindled with faith and offering, you are the bearer of oblation to the gods. To Aditya, to Rudras, to wealthy ones—do not bring ruin to the clay man; do not bring misfortune.

इ॒मं य॒ज्ञमि॒दं वचो॑ जुजुषा॒ण उ॒पाग॑हि । मर्ता॑सस्त्वा समिधान हवामहे मृळी॒काय॑ हवामहे
imaṃ yajñamidaṃ vaco jujuṣāṇa upāgahi martāsastvā samidhāna havāmahe mṛḷīkāya havāmahe
Accept this vow, this word of sacrifice; approach. Mortal men, by the household-fires we offer the assemblage to the clay-man; we offer to the clay-man.

त्वामु॑ जा॒तवे॑दसं वि॒श्ववा॑रं गृणे धि॒या । अग्ने॑ दे॒वाँ आ व॑ह नः प्रि॒यव्र॑तान्मृळी॒काय॑ प्रि॒यव्र॑तान्
tvāmu jātavedasaṃ viśvavāraṃ gṛṇe dhiyā agne devām̐ ā vaha naḥ priyavratānmṛḷīkāya priyavratān
To you, O Jataveda, I call the all-knowing one, the universally quick; bring the gods to us, O Agni, favoring our vows to the clay-man.

अ॒ग्निर्दे॒वो दे॒वाना॑मभवत्पु॒रोहि॑तो॒ऽग्निं म॑नु॒ष्या॒३॒॑ ऋष॑यः॒ समी॑धिरे । अ॒ग्निं म॒हो धन॑साताव॒हं हु॑वे मृळी॒कं धन॑सातये
agnirdevo devānāmabhavatpurohito'gniṃ manuṣyā3 ṛṣayaḥ samīdhire agniṃ maho dhanasātāvahaṃ huve mṛḷīkaṃ dhanasātaye
Agni was the god of the gods, the priest of men; sages formed the sacred fuel. I invoked the great Agni, carrier of wealth, I invoked the clay-man for riches.

अ॒ग्निरत्रिं॑ भ॒रद्वा॑जं॒ गवि॑ष्ठिरं॒ प्राव॑न्नः॒ कण्वं॑ त्र॒सद॑स्युमाह॒वे । अ॒ग्निं वसि॑ष्ठो हवते पु॒रोहि॑तो मृळी॒काय॑ पु॒रोहि॑तः
agniratriṃ bharadvājaṃ gaviṣṭhiraṃ prāvannaḥ kaṇvaṃ trasadasyumāhave agniṃ vasiṣṭho havate purohito mṛḷīkāya purohitaḥ
Agni bore Bharadvaja, most mighty, the noble knower; Kanva trembled in the rite. Vasistha invoked Agni, the priest; the clay-man, the priest, was invoked.
