एन्द्र॑ सान॒सिं र॒यिं स॒जित्वा॑नं सदा॒सह॑म् । वर्षि॑ष्ठमू॒तये॑ भर
endra sānasiṃ rayiṃ sajitvānaṃ sadāsaham varṣiṣṭhamūtaye bhara
May Indra, having embraced the splendid kine, grant abundant rain; fill for us the most excellent waters.

नि येन॑ मुष्टिह॒त्यया॒ नि वृ॒त्रा रु॒णधा॑महै । त्वोता॑सो॒ न्यर्व॑ता
ni yena muṣṭihatyayā ni vṛtrā ruṇadhāmahai tvotāso nyarvatā
By whom, with clenched hand, the Vṛtras were struck down — you, dispeller of fear, have made us safe.

indra tvotāsa ā vayaṃ vajraṃ ghanā dadīmahi jayema saṃ yudhi spṛdhaḥ
Indra, by you we have taken the mighty thunderbolt; we conquered in battle and rival strife ceased.

vayaṃ śūrebhirastṛbhirindra tvayā yujā vayam sāsahyāma pṛtanyataḥ
We, brave and thrice-renowned, are yoked to you, Indra; grant us assistance from every side.

म॒हाँ इन्द्रः॑ प॒रश्च॒ नु म॑हि॒त्वम॑स्तु व॒ज्रिणे॑ । द्यौर्न प्र॑थि॒ना शवः॑
mahām̐ indraḥ paraśca nu mahitvamastu vajriṇe dyaurna prathinā śavaḥ
Great is Indra; may his might remain for the wielder of the thunderbolt; sky and wide earth be the offering.

Whether drawn by perplexity to men's hosts or drawn by sages to thought, may the wise ones bring us favor.

यः कु॒क्षिः सो॑म॒पात॑मः समु॒द्र इ॑व॒ पिन्व॑ते । उ॒र्वीरापो॒ न का॒कुदः॑
yaḥ kukṣiḥ somapātamaḥ samudra iva pinvate urvīrāpo na kākudaḥ
He who drinks the draught of Soma like one drinking the sea, the waters swift as rivers flow for him; they do not lack a mighty seat.

ए॒वा ह्य॑स्य सू॒नृता॑ विर॒प्शी गोम॑ती म॒ही । प॒क्वा शाखा॒ न दा॒शुषे॑
evā hyasya sūnṛtā virapśī gomatī mahī pakvā śākhā na dāśuṣe
Thus for him are the fruitful kine and the givers of riches in the world; ripe branches do not fail for the generous.

ए॒वा हि ते॒ विभू॑तय ऊ॒तय॑ इन्द्र॒ माव॑ते । स॒द्यश्चि॒त्सन्ति॑ दा॒शुषे॑
evā hi te vibhūtaya ūtaya indra māvate sadyaścitsanti dāśuṣe
Thus indeed your glories rise up, O Indra, shining forth; immediately the gifts abide with the generous.

ए॒वा ह्य॑स्य॒ काम्या॒ स्तोम॑ उ॒क्थं च॒ शंस्या॑ । इन्द्रा॑य॒ सोम॑पीतये
evā hyasya kāmyā stoma ukthaṃ ca śaṃsyā indrāya somapītaye
Thus indeed for him is the desired hymn and praised chant, for Indra and for drinking Soma.
