प॒श्वा न ता॒युं गुहा॒ चत॑न्तं॒ नमो॑ युजा॒नं नमो॒ वह॑न्तम्
paśvā na tāyuṃ guhā catantaṃ namo yujānaṃ namo vahantam
Not beasts but those who possess life, worshipful heroes, I salute — the yoked carriers, salutations to the bearers.

स॒जोषा॒ धीराः॑ प॒दैरनु॑ ग्म॒न्नुप॑ त्वा सीद॒न्विश्वे॒ यज॑त्राः

Wise companions, joyful, advanced step by step, you sit near the sacrificers; may all the worshippers take their seats with you.

The gods follow the ordinance of Rta; from the mid‑air the heaven and earth encircle with rounds of order.

वर्ध॑न्ती॒मापः॑ प॒न्वा सुशि॑श्विमृ॒तस्य॒ योना॒ गर्भे॒ सुजा॑तम्
vardhantīmāpaḥ panvā suśiśvimṛtasya yonā garbhe sujātam
Waters increase, bringing forth the fruitful, sweet progeny in the womb of the living — born well and vigorous.

पु॒ष्टिर्न र॒ण्वा क्षि॒तिर्न पृ॒थ्वी गि॒रिर्न भुज्म॒ क्षोदो॒ न श॒म्भु
puṣṭirna raṇvā kṣitirna pṛthvī girirna bhujma kṣodo na śambhu
Neither nurture nor ruin, neither earth nor heaven, neither mountain nor dust; hunger is not, nor upheaval.

अत्यो॒ नाज्म॒न्सर्ग॑प्रतक्तः॒ सिन्धु॒र्न क्षोदः॒ क ईं॑ वराते
atyo nājmansargaprataktaḥ sindhurna kṣodaḥ ka īṃ varāte
There is no hostile separation from the bone, no deluge of the sea, no hunger — who then would be able to refuse (these gifts)?

Jamih, brother of the rivers, having gone to his wives, the king departed to the forests.

यद्वात॑जूतो॒ वना॒ व्यस्था॑द॒ग्निर्ह॑ दाति॒ रोमा॑ पृथि॒व्याः
yadvātajūto vanā vyasthādagnirha dāti romā pṛthivyāḥ
What the wind-born gave in the forests when established — Agni grants the hair of the earth.

श्वसि॑त्य॒प्सु हं॒सो न सीद॒न्क्रत्वा॒ चेति॑ष्ठो वि॒शामु॑ष॒र्भुत्
śvasityapsu haṃso na sīdankratvā cetiṣṭho viśāmuṣarbhut
The swan breathes in the waters; not settling on the grass — thus it became a purifier of the dwelling-places.

सोमो॒ न वे॒धा ऋ॒तप्र॑जातः प॒शुर्न शिश्वा॑ वि॒भुर्दू॒रेभाः॑
somo na vedhā ṛtaprajātaḥ paśurna śiśvā vibhurdūrebhāḥ
Soma, not unknowing of the ordinance, a living being among creatures — the all-pervader does not bite the distant ones.
