सु॒रू॒प॒कृ॒त्नुमू॒तये॑ सु॒दुघा॑मिव गो॒दुहे॑ । जु॒हू॒मसि॒ द्यवि॑द्यवि
surūpakṛtnumūtaye sudughāmiva goduhe juhūmasi dyavidyavi
Having fashioned a beautiful oblation like a milch-cow for the seer, I offer it to the heavens and the earth.

उप॑ नः॒ सव॒ना ग॑हि॒ सोम॑स्य सोमपाः पिब । गो॒दा इद्रे॒वतो॒ मदः॑
upa naḥ savanā gahi somasya somapāḥ piba godā idrevato madaḥ
Come near to us with the Soma-pressers; drink up, O drinkers of Soma. May this libation of milk-like sweetness be for strength.

Thus grant to you the knowledge of minds of the wise; let no hostile fame come upon us.

May he ask of mighty Indra, who has gone beyond, the prudent one; may he grant you, O friends, bounty.

And may they speak unto us praises, offering abundant treasure; Indra has given them as givers of gifts.

O Ashvins, bestow wealth and the splendour of sacrifice upon the man who moves among you; may he, your friend, advance kindly.

asya pītvā śatakrato ghano vṛtrāṇāmabhavaḥ prāvo vājeṣu vājinam
Having drunk of him, O hundred‑thinking one, a host of Vṛtras came into being; he went forth among the wealth‑bestowers as the victorious one.

तं त्वा॒ वाजे॑षु वा॒जिनं॑ वा॒जया॑मः शतक्रतो । धना॑नामिन्द्र सा॒तये॑
taṃ tvā vājeṣu vājinaṃ vājayāmaḥ śatakrato dhanānāmindra sātaye
We, O hundred‑thinking Indra, have made you the puissant one among the wealthy; strengthen the riches of men for his sake.

यो रा॒यो॒३॒॑ऽवनि॑र्म॒हान्सु॑पा॒रः सु॑न्व॒तः सखा॑ । तस्मा॒ इन्द्रा॑य गायत
yo rāyo3'vanirmahānsupāraḥ sunvataḥ sakhā tasmā indrāya gāyata
He who is king on earth, great, far‑surpassing, and friend of the people—therefore they sing to Indra for him.
