सो॒मानं॒ स्वर॑णं कृणु॒हि ब्र॑ह्मणस्पते । क॒क्षीव॑न्तं॒ य औ॑शि॒जः
somānaṃ svaraṇaṃ kṛṇuhi brahmaṇaspate kakṣīvantaṃ ya auśijaḥ
O Brahmanaspati, make Soma become a shining, golden one; like a well-winged bird may he fly swiftly.

यो रे॒वान्यो अ॑मीव॒हा व॑सु॒वित्पु॑ष्टि॒वर्ध॑नः । स नः॑ सिषक्तु॒ यस्तु॒रः
yo revānyo amīvahā vasuvitpuṣṭivardhanaḥ sa naḥ siṣaktu yasturaḥ
He who pours forth riches like flowing rivers, who increases strength and prosperity—may that one be near to us and hold us fast.

मा नः॒ शंसो॒ अर॑रुषो धू॒र्तिः प्रण॒ङ्मर्त्य॑स्य । रक्षा॑ णो ब्रह्मणस्पते
mā naḥ śaṃso araruṣo dhūrtiḥ praṇaṅmartyasya rakṣā ṇo brahmaṇaspate
Let not false praise, deceit or craft injure the mortal; protect us, O Brahmanaspati.

स घा॑ वी॒रो न रि॑ष्यति॒ यमिन्द्रो॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑ । सोमो॑ हि॒नोति॒ मर्त्य॑म्
sa ghā vīro na riṣyati yamindro brahmaṇaspatiḥ somo hinoti martyam
That hero will not be vanquished whom Indra, O Brahmanaspati, protects; Soma indeed endows the mortal.

त्वं तं ब्र॑ह्मणस्पते॒ सोम॒ इन्द्र॑श्च॒ मर्त्य॑म् । दक्षि॑णा पा॒त्वंह॑सः
tvaṃ taṃ brahmaṇaspate soma indraśca martyam dakṣiṇā pātvaṃhasaḥ
You, Brahmanaspati, and Soma and Indra protect that mortal; grant him the right-hand boon, a favor of strength.

सद॑स॒स्पति॒मद्भु॑तं प्रि॒यमिन्द्र॑स्य॒ काम्य॑म् । स॒निं मे॒धाम॑यासिषम्
sadasaspatimadbhutaṃ priyamindrasya kāmyam saniṃ medhāmayāsiṣam
Lord of the hosts (Sadaspati) produced a wondrous beloved for Indra, desirable and pleasing; he strengthened my mind with a blessing of insight.

यस्मा॑दृ॒ते न सिध्य॑ति य॒ज्ञो वि॑प॒श्चित॑श्च॒न । स धी॒नां योग॑मिन्वति
yasmādṛte na sidhyati yajño vipaścitaścana sa dhīnāṃ yogaminvati
From whom the sacrifice does not succeed — the wise and the thoughtful do not follow that path; he (the sage) seeks the counsel/union of the wise.

आदृ॑ध्नोति ह॒विष्कृ॑तिं॒ प्राञ्चं॑ कृणोत्यध्व॒रम् । होत्रा॑ दे॒वेषु॑ गच्छति
ādṛdhnoti haviṣkṛtiṃ prāñcaṃ kṛṇotyadhvaram hotrā deveṣu gacchati
He offers the appointed oblation eastward, makes the sacrificial act on the eastern side; the hotri (priest) goes to the gods with it.

नरा॒शंसं॑ सु॒धृष्ट॑म॒मप॑श्यं स॒प्रथ॑स्तमम् । दि॒वो न सद्म॑मखसम्
narāśaṃsaṃ sudhṛṣṭamamapaśyaṃ saprathastamam divo na sadmamakhasam
Men saw the praised, clearly perceived and foremost of that — the heaven does not remove my seat/realm.
