ऐभि॑रग्ने॒ दुवो॒ गिरो॒ विश्वे॑भिः॒ सोम॑पीतये । दे॒वेभि॑र्याहि॒ यक्षि॑ च
aibhiragne duvo giro viśvebhiḥ somapītaye devebhiryāhi yakṣi ca
O Agni, with these praises—by many voices and with offerings of Soma—bring prosperity; come to the gods and to the worshipper.

ā tvā kaṇvā ahūṣata gṛṇanti vipra te dhiyaḥ devebhiragna ā gahi
O Kanva, the priests call you, they invoke your thoughts; bring Agni near with the gods.

pra vo bhriyanta indavo matsarā mādayiṣṇavaḥ drapsā madhvaścamūṣadaḥ
Bring them forth, O Indra — the eager ones that delight — the swift, the sweet-voiced, the fragrant.

īḷate tvāmavasyavaḥ kaṇvāso vṛktabarhiṣaḥ haviṣmanto araṃkṛtaḥ
They sing to you, the necessary ones, Kanva-born with sacred songs, offered with oblations, made prayerful.

ghṛtapṛṣṭhā manoyujo ye tvā vahanti vahnayaḥ ā devānsomapītaye
With clarified-butter offerings the mind is yoked; those who bear you, O flames, bring the gods to be delighted with soma to drink.

तान्यज॑त्राँ ऋता॒वृधोऽग्ने॒ पत्नी॑वतस्कृधि । मध्वः॑ सुजिह्व पायय
tānyajatrām̐ ṛtāvṛdho'gne patnīvataskṛdhi madhvaḥ sujihva pāyaya
Propitiate those providers, O Agni, like a husband caring for his wife; pour forth the sweet draught, O sujihva (sweet-tongued).

ye yajatrā ya īḍyāste te pibantu jihvayā madhoragne vaṣaṭkṛti
Those who perform the ritual and those who chant the hymns, may they drink with the tongue. O Agni, sweet one, fulfilling the vow.

ākīṃ sūryasya rocanādviśvāndevām̐ uṣarbudhaḥ vipro hoteha vakṣati
From the shining of Surya's light, all the gods are awake; the priest speaks forth the eastward wisdom.

viśvebhiḥ somyaṃ madhvagna indreṇa vāyunā pibā mitrasya dhāmabhiḥ
With all the worlds, drink the Soma sweetened by Agni, by Indra, by Vayu; drink from the abodes of Mitra.

You, Agni, who is fit to be invoked, sit glorified in the sacrifices; grant us this way of offerings.

yukṣvā hyaruṣī rathe harito deva rohitaḥ tābhirdevām̐ ihā vaha
Drive on the swift chariot, O golden-robed god; carry these gods along with you.
