Mayi gṛhṇāmyagre'agni|m rāyaspoṣāya suprajāstvāya suvīryāya. Māmu devatāḥ sacantām.
Take Agni before me for nourishment of fat, for abundant progeny and vigor. May the gods be with me.

आपां पृष्ठमसि योनिरग्नेः समुद्रमभितः पिन्वमानम। वर्धमानो महांनऽ आ च पुष्करे दिवो मात्रया वरिम्णा प्रथस्व।
āpā≈ pṛṣṭhamasi yoniragneḥ samudramabhitaḥ pinvamānam. Vardhamāno mahā|n' ā ca puṣkare divo mātrayā varimṇā prathasva.
O womb of Agni, you are the back of the waters, encompassed by the sea, pouring forth; increasing greatly, with the measure of the sky and the lake, spread the waters.

ब्रह्म जज्ञानं प्रथमं पुरस्ताद वि सीमतः सुरुचो वेनऽआवः। स बुध्न्याऽउपमाऽ अस्य विष्ठाः सतश्च योनिमसतश्च वि वः।
Brahma jaj¤āna≈ prathama≈ purastād vi sīmataḥ suruco vena'āvaḥ. Sa budhnyā'upamā' asya viṣṭhāḥ sataśca yonimasataśca vi vaḥ.
Brahman was first-born knowledge; before that came the fair-voiced rivers. He, like wise similitudes, established excretions, decaying and non-decaying wombs for you by hundreds.

हिरण्यगर्भः समवर्तताग्रे भूउतस्य जातः पतिरेकऽआसीत। स दाधार पृथिवीं द्यामुतेमां कस्मै देवाय हविषा विधेम।
Hiraṇyagarbhaḥ samavartatāgre bhūutasya jātaḥ patireka'āsīt. Sa dādhāra pṛthivī≈ dyāmutemā≈ kasmai devāya haviṣā vidhema.
In the beginning Hiranyagarbha came into being; he was the one sole lord. He upheld the earth and the heaven— to which god shall we offer this oblation?

द्रप्सश्चस्कन्द पृथिवीमनु द्यामिमं च योनिमनु यश्च पूउर्वः। समानं योनिमनु सञ्चरन्तं द्रप्सं जुहोम्यनु सप्त होत्राः।
Drapsaścaskanda pṛthivīmanu dyāmima≈ ca yonimanu yaśca pūurvaḥ. Samāna≈ yonimanu sa¤caranta≈ drapsa≈ juhomyanu sapta hotrāḥ.
Let the sacrificial butter and clarified fat be as earth and sky, and as the womb and its origin. As like wombs move about, we offer the butter—seven givers of sacred formulae.

नमोऽस्तु सर्पेभ्यो ये के च पृथिवीमनु। ये ऽअन्तरिक्षे ये दिवि तेभ्यः सर्पेभ्यो नमः।
Namo'stu sarpebhyo ye ke ca pṛthivīmanu. Ye 'antarikṣe ye divi tebhyaḥ sarpebhyo namaḥ.
Oblation to the serpents who are like the earth; to those in the atmosphere, to those in the heavens—homage to those serpents.

याऽइषवो यातुधानानां ये वा वनस्पतींनऽ रनु। ये वावटेषु शेरते तेभ्यः सर्पेभ्यो नमः।
Yā'iṣavo yātudhānānā≈ ye vā vanaspatī|n' ranu. Ye vāvaṭeṣu śerate tebhyaḥ sarpebhyo namaḥ.
To those Yakshas and Rakshasas, to the forest-spirits and to those who roost in trees and huts—homage to those serpents.

ये वामी रोचने दिवो ये वा सूउर्यस्य रश्मिषु। येषामप्सु सदस्कृतं तेभ्यः सर्पेभ्यो नमः।
Ye vāmī rocane divo ye vā sūuryasya raśmiṣu. Yeṣāmapsu sadaskṛta≈ tebhyaḥ sarpebhyo namaḥ.
To those shining in the east, to those in the rays of the sun, whose waters are consecrated—homage to those serpents.

कृणुष्व पाजः प्रसितिं न पृथ्वीं याहि राजेवामवां न ऽ इभेन। तृष्वीमनु प्रसितिं द्रूउणानोऽस्ताऽसि विध्य रक्षसस्तपिष्ठैः।
Kṛṇuṣva pājaḥ prasiti≈ na pṛthvī≈ yāhi rājevāmavā| n ' ibhena. Tṛṣvīmanu prasiti≈ drūuṇāno'stā'si vidhya rakṣasastapiṣṭhaiḥ .
Make the offering, bring forth abundance; do not let the earth go away like a king without us. Grant plentiful spread like the threefold waters; be established, O protectors, against fierce ones.

तव भ्रमासऽआशुया पतन्त्यनुस्पृश धृषता शोशुचानः। तपू उ ं म ष्यग्ने जुह्वा पतङ्गानसन्दितो वि सृज विष्वगुल्काः।
Tava bhramāsa'āśuyā patantyanuspṛśa dhṛṣatā śośucānaḥ. Tapū u | m ṣyagne juhvā pataΔgānasandito vi sṛja viṣvagulkāḥ.
May your bees descend swiftly and touch, daring and thirsting. With the oblation offered to Agni, scatter the winged ones; release the all-consuming fires.

प्रति स्पशो विसृज तूउर्णितमो भवा पायुर्विशोऽ अस्या अदब्धः। यो नो दूउरेऽअघशंम्सो योऽ अन्त्यग्ने मा किष्टे व्यथिरा दधर्षीत।
Prati spaśo visṛja tūurṇitamo bhavā pāyurviśo' asyā adabdhaḥ. Yo no dūure'aghaśa|mso yo' antyagne mā kiṣṭe vyathirā dadharṣīt.
Send forth the one most swift like a dart; let him be the unbroken protector of our waters. May he banish the distant sin-power and, at the end, not permit hardship to oppress us.

ऊदग्ने तिष्ठ प्रत्या तनुष्व न्यमित्रां न ऽ ओषतात्तिग्महेते। यो नोऽअरातिंम समिधान चक्रे नीचा तं धाक्ष्यतसं न शुष्कम।
ūdagne tiṣṭha pratyā tanuṣva nyamitrā| n ' oṣatāttigmahete. Yo no'arāti|m samidhāna cakre nīcā ta≈ dhākṣyatasa≈ na śuṣkam.
Stand, O heaven, be firm; strengthen our bodies; do not make the friendless faint. May he not cast upon us distress nor make the fuel low and dry.

उ ङ र्ध्वो भव प्रति विध्याध्यस्मदाविष्क्णुष्व दैव्यान्यग्ने। आव स्थिरा तनुहि यातुजूउनां जामिमजामिं प्र मृणीहि शत्रूउन। आग्नेष्ट्वा तेजसा सादयामि।
U ª rdhvo bhava prati vidhyādhyasmadāviṣkṇuṣva daivyānyagne. āva sthirā tanuhi yātujūunā≈ jāmimajāmi≈ pra mṛṇīhi śatrūun. āgneṣṭvā tejasā sādayāmi.
Rise upward, O protector; make firm our offering; O Agni, reveal the divine ones. May the steadfast ones come with stable bodies, grant offspring and ward off enemies. By holy fire I quicken with radiant strength.

ओ मन्किन्द। देवेलोप थे बेस्त थिन्ग्स हिछ ओउर सैन्त्स अन्द स्छोलर्स हवे दिस्चोवेरेद अन्द इन्वेन्तेद। रेसिस्त अन्द रेदुचे थे स्त्रेन्ग्थ ओ थे ओप्पोनेन्त्स तो निल। एलिमिनते थे नतुरल, त्रदितिओनल अन्द चुस्तोमर्य एनेमिएस ओ सोचिएत्य। इ इन्स्तल योउ इन योउर सेअत इथ थे बप्तिस्म ओ लिघ्त अन्द इरे।

ओक्गे भुवो यज्ञस्य रजसश्च नेता यत्रा नियुद्भिः सचसे शिवाभिः। दिवि मू उ र्धानं दधिषे स्वर्षां जिह्वामग्ने चकृषे हव्यवाहम।
okge Bhuvo yaj¤asya rajasaśca netā yatrā niyudbhiḥ sacase śivābhiḥ. Divi mū u rdhāna≈ dadhiṣe svarṣā≈ jihvāmagne cakṛṣe havyavāham.
Be the guardian of the sacrifice, O sovereign of power, where sages with auspicious rites attend. In heaven you set the elevated seat; O tongue-Agni, you carried the oblation.

ध्रुवासि धरुणास्तृता विश्वकर्मणा। मा त्वा समुद्रऽउद्वधीन्मा सुपर्णोऽव्यथमाना पृथिवीं दृंम्ह।
Dhruvāsi dharuṇāstṛtā viśvakarmaṇā. Mā tvā samudra'udvadhīnmā suparṇo'vyathamānā pṛthivī≈ dṛ|mha.
You are steadfast, support of the earth, fashioned by Vishvakarman. Do not let the sea overwhelm you; O Suparna, remain unshaken—hold the earth firm.

प्रजापतिष्ट्वा सादयत्वपं पृष्ठे समुद्रस्येमन। व्यचस्वतीं प्रथस्वतीं प्रथस्व पृथिव्यसि।
Prajāpatiṣṭvā sādayatvapa≈ pṛṣṭhe samudrasyeman. Vyacasvatī≈ prathasvatī≈ prathasva pṛthivyasi.
Prajapati, being established, caused the sea to be pacified at its back. May the rivers Vyacasvati and Prathasvati flow forth; flow, O earth.

भूउरसि भूउमिरस्यादितिरसि विश्वधाया विश्वस्य भुवनस्य धर्त्री। पृथिवीं यच्छ पृथिवीं दृंम्ह पृथिवीं मा हिंम्सीः।
Bhūurasi bhūumirasyāditirasi viśvadhāyā viśvasya bhuvanasya dhartrī. Pṛthivī≈ yaccha pṛthivī≈ dṛ|mha pṛthivī≈ mā hi|msīḥ.
You are the earth, you are the land, you are the light, you are the sustainer of the universe, the bearer of the world. Give the earth what is earth; hold the earth—do not injure the earth.

काण्डात काण्डात प्ररोहन्ती परुषः परुषस्परि। एवा नो दूउर्वे प्र तनु सहस्रेण शतेन च।
KāṇŒāt kāṇŒāt prarohantī paruṣaḥ paruṣaspari. Evā no dūurve pra tanu sahasreṇa śatena ca.
From root to root fierce ones ascend, harsh and severe. May they approach us not; forego their bodies by thousands and hundreds.

या शतेन प्रतनोषि सहस्रेण विरोहसि। तस्यास्ते देवीष्टके विधेम हविषा वयम।
Yā śatena pratanoṣi sahasreṇa virohasi. Tasyāste devīṣṭake vidhema haviṣā vayam.
Where you strike with a hundred, where you oppose with a thousand—of that fierce one we are the sacrificers with oblation for the divine seat.

या वो देवाः सूउर्ये रुचो गोष्वश्वेषु या रुचः। ईन्द्राग्नी ताभिः सर्वाभी रुचं नो धत्त बृहस्पते।
Yā vo devāḥ sūurye ruco goṣvaśveṣu yā rucaḥ. īndrāgnī tābhiḥ sarvābhī ruca≈ no dhatta bṛhaspate.
Which radiance of yours, O gods, is in the sun, in kine, in steeds—that radiance, Indra and Agni, with all those bring to us the radiance, O Bṛhaspati.

विराड ज्योतिरधारयत स्वराड ज्योतिरधारयत। प्रजापतिष्ट्वा सादयतु पृष्ठे पृथिव्या ज्योतिष्मतीम। विश्वस्मै प्राणायापानाय व्यानाय विश्वं ज्योतिर्यच्छ। आग्निष्टेऽधिपतिस्तया देवतयाऽ ङ्गिरस्वद ध्रुवा सीद।
VirāŒ jyotiradhārayat svarāŒ jyotiradhārayat. Prajāpatiṣṭvā sādayatu pṛṣṭhe pṛthivyā jyotiṣmatīm. Viśvasmai prāṇāyāpānāya vyānāya viśva≈ jyotiryaccha. āgniṣṭe'dhipatistayā devatayā' Δgirasvad dhruvā sīda.
May the vast light sustain, may the sovereign light sustain. Prajapati, being established, set forth the radiant earth. To all breath and vital airs may you give the universal light. O lord of the fire, with those deities and Angiras stand firm, Dhruva, sit steadfast.

आषाढाऽसि सहमाना सहस्वारातीः सहस्व पृतनायतः। सहस्रवीर्याऽसि सा मा जिन्व।
āṣāŒhā'si sahamānā sahasvārātīḥ sahasva pṛtanāyataḥ. Sahasravīryā'si sā mā jinva.
You are equal in Aśadha, equal in the nights, equal in the leading of thousands. You are of thousand-strength—do not vanquish her.

Madhu vātā'ṛtāyate madhu kṣaranti sindhavaḥ. Mādhvīrnaḥ santvoṣadhīḥ.
Sweet are the winds that blow, sweet the flowing rivers; may sweet plants be ours for comfort.

मधु नक्तमुतोषसो मधुमत पार्थिवंम रजः। मधु द्यौरस्तु नः पिता।
Madhu naktamutoṣaso madhumat pārthiva|m rajaḥ. Madhu dyaurastu naḥ pitā.
Sweet be the night, sweet the dawn, sweet the earthly dust; may the sky be our father, sweet as well.

मधुमान्नो वनस्पतिर्मधुमां न ऽ अस्तु सूउर्यः। माध्वीर्गावो भवन्तु नः।
Madhumānno vanaspatirmadhumā| n ' astu sūuryaḥ. Mādhvīrgāvo bhavantu naḥ.
O Lord of plants, grant us sweet food; may the sun not be sour; may sweet cows be ours.

आपां गम्भन्त्सीद मा त्वा सूउर्योऽभि ताप्सीन माऽग्निर्वैश्वानरः। आच्छिन्नपत्राः प्रजाऽ अनुवीक्षस्वानु त्वा दिव्या वृष्टिः सचताम।
āpā≈ gambhantsīda mā tvā sūuryo'bhi tāpsīn mā'gnirvaiśvānaraḥ. ācchinnapatrāḥ prajā' anuvīkṣasvānu tvā divyā vṛṣṭiḥ sacatām.
Do not let the waters be blocked; O Sun, the overheater, and O Agni Vaishvanara, do not parch them. Look upon the offspring with leaves unremoved; send down divine rain for the people.

त्रीन्त्समुद्रान्त्समसृपत स्वर्गानपां पतिर्वृषभऽ इष्टकानाम। पुरीषं वसानः सुकृतस्य लोके तत्र गच्छ यत्र पूउर्वे परेताः।
Trīntsamudrāntsamasṛpat svargānapā≈ patirvṛṣabha' iṣṭakānām. Purīṣa≈ vasānaḥ sukṛtasya loke tatra gaccha yatra pūurve paretāḥ.
Three (fold) are the ocean-ends, and the serpents; the bull is lord of the heavens and waters of the chariot-makers. O sequestered one clothed with fecundity, go to that good world where the departed of old are.

मही द्यौः पृथिवी च नऽइमं यज्ञं मिमिक्षताम। पिपृतां नो भरीमभिः।
Mahī dyauḥ pṛthivī ca na'ima≈ yaj¤a≈ mimikṣatām. Pipṛtā≈ no bharīmabhiḥ.
Earth, sky — let them not inspect this sacrifice. May they, bearing nourishment, fill us with plenty.

विष्णोः कर्माणि पश्यत यतो व्रतानि पस्पशे। ईन्द्रस्य युज्यः सखा।
Viṣṇoḥ karmāṇi paśyata yato vratāni paspaśe. īndrasya yujyaḥ sakhā.
See the deeds of Vishnu, by which you observed vows; you are Indra's worthy friend.
Yajurveda 13.34 — Jataveda Devata

ध्रुवासि धरुणेतो जज्ञे प्रथममेभ्यो योनिभ्योऽ अधि जातवेदाः। स गायत्र्या त्रिष्टुभानुष्टुभा च देवेभ्यो हव्यं वहतु प्रजानन।
Dhruvāsi dharuṇeto jaj¤e prathamamebhyo yonibhyo' adhi jātavedāḥ. Sa gāyatryā triṣṭubhānuṣṭubhā ca devebhyo havya≈ vahatu prajānan.
Firm one, enduring support, the knowers of birth first engendered the wombs. Let him with Gayatri, Trishtubh and Anushtubh offer the oblation to the gods and bear the offering for progeny.

आग्ने युक्ष्वा हि ये तवाश्वासो देव साधवः। आरं वहन्ति मन्यवे।
āgne yukṣvā hi ye tavāśvāso deva sādhavaḥ. āra≈ vahanti manyave.
O Agni, those who are your steads (possessions), the gods and the righteous, strengthen them; they bring forth the vigor of Manyu.

युक्ष्वा हि देवहूउतमांनऽअश्वांनऽअग्ने रथीरिव। नि होता पूउर्व्यः सदः।
Yukṣvā hi devahūutamā|n'aśvā|n'agne rathīriva. Ni hotā pūurvyaḥ sadaḥ.
May those whom you harness for godly sacrifice be yoked like steeds, O Agni; the ancient priests are the sacrificers.

सम्यक स्रवन्ति सरितो न धेनाऽ अन्तर्हृदा मनसा पूउयमानाः। घृतस्य धाराऽ अभि चाकशीमि हिरण्ययो वेतसो मध्येऽ अग्नेः।
Samyak sravanti sarito na dhenā' antarhṛdā manasā pūuyamānāḥ. Ghṛtasya dhārā' abhi cākaśīmi hiraṇyayo vetaso madhye' agneḥ.
Rivers truly flow; not cows alone but hearts within, minds are being filled. Streams of ghee flow; I place the golden effulgence in Agni's midst.

र चे त्वा रुचे त्वा भासे त्वा ज्योतिषे त्वा। आभूउदिदं विश्वस्य भुवनस्य वाजिनम अग्नेर्वैश्वानरस्य च।
R ce tvā ruce tvā bhāse tvā jyotiṣe tvā. ābhūudida≈ viśvasya bhuvanasya vājinam agnervaiśvānarasya ca.
You shine, you are radiant, you blaze in light; this world’s embodiment of the realm, O Agni, the swift and the Vaishvanara were born as steeds.

आग्निर्ज्योतिषा ज्योतिष्मान रुक्मो वर्चसा वर्चस्वान। सहस्रदाऽ असि सहस्राय त्वा।
āgnirjyotiṣā jyotiṣmān rukmo varcasā varcasvān. Sahasradā' asi sahasrāya tvā.
Agni, brilliant in lights, radiant with splendour; you are thousand-gifted, thousandfold to you.

आदित्यं गर्भं पयसा समङ्धि सहस्रस्य प्रतिमां विश्वरू उ पम। परिवृङ्धि हरसा माऽभि मंम्स्थाः शतायुषं कृणुहि चीयमानः।
Åditya≈ garbha≈ payasā samaΔdhi sahasrasya pratimā≈ viśvarū u pam. ParivṛΔdhi harasā mā'bhi ma|msthāḥ śatāyuṣa≈ kṛṇuhi cīyamānaḥ.
O Aditya, mingle thy seed with the waters; assume a thousandfold form, O universal one. Increase the joyous ones; grant a hundred years to the living one.

आजस्रमिन्दुमरुषं भुरण्युमग्निमीडे पूउर्वचित्तिं नमोभिः। स पर्वभिरृतुशः कल्पमानो गां मा हिंम्सीरदितिं विराजम।
ājasramindumaruṣa≈ bhuraṇyumagnimīŒe pūurvacitti≈ namobhiḥ. Sa parvabhirṛtuśaḥ kalpamāno gā≈ mā hi|msīraditi≈ virājam.
Salutations to the uninjured, to the lofty Agni of the earth and heaven. He, moving by mountains and seasons, make our song not harmful; make him shine with peaceful thought.

ओ;क्से वरूउत्रीं त्वष्टुर्वरुणस्य नाभिमविं जज्ञानां म रजसः परस्मात। महीं म साहस्रीमसुरस्य मायामग्ने मा हिं म सीः परमे व्योमन।
O;kse Varūutrī≈ tvaṣṭurvaruṇasya nābhimavi≈ jaj¤ānā| m rajasaḥ parasmāt. Mahī| m sāhasrīmasurasya māyāmagne mā hi| m sīḥ parame vyoman.
O Vasus Varuṇa's navel the artisan knew not from the dust of others. O Agni, do not let the thousandfold might of the demon harm the earth; do not let the supreme region be injured.

यो अग्निरग्नेरध्यजायत शोकात पृथिव्याऽउत वा दिवस्परि। येन प्रजा विश्वकर्मा जजान तमग्ने हेडः परि ते वृणक्तु।
Yo agniragneradhyajāyata śokāt pṛthivyā'uta vā divaspari. Yena prajā viśvakarmā jajāna tamagne heŒaḥ pari te vṛṇaktu.
He from whom Agni was born, whether sorrowing or lifted from earth to heaven by day — by whom the all-maker fashioned beings — O Agni, take that head; select it around you.
Yajurveda 13.47 — Agni Devata

ईमं मा हिंम्सीर्द्विपादं पशुंम सहस्राक्षो मेधाय चीयमानः। मयुं पशुं मेधमग्ने जुषस्व तेन चिन्वानस्तन्वो निषीद। मयुं ते शुगृच्छतु यं द्विष्मस्तं ते शुगृच्छतु।
īma≈ mā hi|msīrdvipāda≈ paśu|m sahasrākṣo medhāya cīyamānaḥ. Mayu≈ paśu≈ medhamagne juṣasva tena cinvānastanvo niṣīda. Mayu≈ te śugṛcchatu ya≈ dviṣmasta≈ te śugṛcchatu.
May this two-footed beast not be harmed, O Agni, thousand-eyed mind bringing intellect. O Agni, bless this animal with wisdom; seek it and seat the strengthened one. May he who hates you be afflicted; may he be afflicted.
Yajurveda 13.48 — Agni Devata

ईमं मा हिंम्सीरेकशफं पशुं कनिक्रदं वाजिनं वाजिनेषु। गौरमारण्यमनु ते दिशामि तेन चिन्वानस्तन्वो निषीद। गौरं ते शुगृच्छतु यं द्विष्मस्तं ते शुगृच्छतु।
īma≈ mā hi|msīrekaśapha≈ paśu≈ kanikrada≈ vājina≈ vājineṣu. Gauramāraṇyamanu te diśāmi tena cinvānastanvo niṣīda. Gaura≈ te śugṛcchatu ya≈ dviṣmasta≈ te śugṛcchatu.
May this one-hoofed beast, the small-kneed charger among charioteers, not be harmed. I direct you toward the brown forest; O Agni, bless that beast; may he who hates you be afflicted.

ईमंम साहस्रंम शतधारमुत्सं व्यच्यमानंम सरिरस्य मध्ये। घृतं दुहानामदितिं जनायाग्ने मा हिंम्सीः परमे व्योमन। गवयमारण्यमनु ते दिशामि तेन चिन्वानस्तन्वो निषीद। गवयं ते शुगृच्छतु यं द्विष्मस्तं ते शुगृच्छतु।
īma|m sāhasra|m śatadhāramutsa≈ vyacyamāna|m sarirasya madhye. Ghṛta≈ duhānāmaditi≈ janāyāgne mā hi|msīḥ parame vyoman. Gavayamāraṇyamanu te diśāmi tena cinvānastanvo niṣīda. Gavaya≈ te śugṛcchatu ya≈ dviṣmasta≈ te śugṛcchatu.
This thousand-strong, hundred-tethered body lifted, the streams of ghee for the sacrificers—do not let them be harmed in the supreme sky, O Agni. I direct you to the cattle forest; O Agni, bless the cattle; may he who hates you be afflicted.

ईममू उ र्णायुं वरुणस्य नाभिं त्वचं पशू उ नां द्विपदां चतुष्पदाम। त्वष्टुः प्रजानां प्रथमं जनित्रमग्ने मा हिंम्सीः परमे व्योमन। ऊष्ट्रमारण्यमनु ते दिशामि तेन चिन्वानस्तन्वो निषीद। ऊष्ट्रं ते शुगृच्छतु यं द्विष्मस्तं ते शुगृच्छतु।
īmamū u rṇāyu≈ varuṇasya nābhi≈ tvaca≈ paśū u nā≈ dvipadā≈ catuṣpadām. Tvaṣṭuḥ prajānā≈ prathama≈ janitramagne mā hi|msīḥ parame vyoman. ūṣṭramāraṇyamanu te diśāmi tena cinvānastanvo niṣīda. ūṣṭra≈ te śugṛcchatu ya≈ dviṣmasta≈ te śugṛcchatu.
May this (air) be the vital breath of Varuṇa, his navel’s skin; may it be the animals, the two-footed and the four-footed. O Tvaṣṭṛ, first be the progenitor of beings, O Agni; do not harm (them) in the highest heaven. I send the camel to the forest in your charge; seek him so the body may sit. May the camel that you hate be released by you; may he whom you hate be released by you.

आजो ह्यग्नेरजनिष्ट शोकात सोऽअपश्यज्जनितारमग्रे। तेन देवा देवतामग्रमायंन्स्तेन रोहमायन्नुप मेध्यासः। शरभमारण्यमनु ते दिशामि तेन चिन्वानस्तन्वो निषीद। शरभं ते शुगृच्छतु यं द्विष्मस्तं ते शुगृच्छतु।
ājo hyagnerajaniṣṭa śokāt so'apaśyajjanitāramagre. Tena devā devatāmagramāya|nstena rohamāyannupa medhyāsaḥ. ›arabhamāraṇyamanu te diśāmi tena cinvānastanvo niṣīda. ›arabha≈ te śugṛcchatu ya≈ dviṣmasta≈ te śugṛcchatu.
Last night, grieving, he (Agni) saw the foremost progenitor. Thereby the gods advanced to the foremost of gods; thereby the invigorating ones advanced to me. I send the wild ox (śarabha) to the forest in your charge; seek him so the body may sit. May the śarabha that you hate be released by you; may he whom you hate be released by you.

Yajurveda 13.55 — Prajapati Devata

आयं दक्षिणा विश्वकर्मा तस्य मनो वैश्वकर्मणं ग्रीष्मो मानसस्त्रिष्टुब्ग्रैष्मी त्रिष्टुभः स्वारं म। स्वारादन्तर्यामोऽन्तर्यामात पञ्चदसः पञ्चदसाद बृहद भरद्वाजऽऋषिः प्रजापतिगृहीतया त्वया मनो गृह्णामि प्रजाभ्यः।
āya≈ dakṣiṇā viśvakarmā tasya mano vaiśvakarmaṇa≈ grīṣmo mānasastriṣṭubgraiṣmī triṣṭubhaḥ svāra| m . Svārādantaryāmo'ntaryāmāt pa¤cadasaḥ pa¤cadasād bṛhad bharadvāja'ṛṣiḥ prajāpatigṛhītayā tvayā mano gṛhṇāmi prajābhyaḥ.
This rightward (aspect) is Viśvakarmā; his mind is Vaiśvakarman. Summer is the mind’s triṣṭubh; graiṣmī the triṣṭubh’s svara. From Svarā the inner-restraint (antaryāma) — fifteen, from fifteen the great; Bharadvāja is the ṛṣi, accepted by Prajāpati. By you I take the mind for the peoples.
Yajurveda 13.56 — Prajapati Devata

आयं पश्चद विश्वव्यचास्तस्य चक्षुर्वैश्वव्यचसं वर्षाश्चाक्षुष्यो जगती वार्षी जगत्याऽ ऋक्समम। र्क्समाच्छुक्रः शुक्रात सप्तदशः सप्तदशाद्वैरूउपं जमदग्निरृषिः प्रजापतिगृहीतया त्वया चक्षुर्गृह्णामि प्रजाभ्यः।
āya≈ paścad viśvavyacāstasya cakṣurvaiśvavyacasa≈ varṣāścākṣuṣyo jagatī vārṣī jagatyā' ṛksamam. Rksamācchukraḥ śukrāt saptadaśaḥ saptadaśādvairūupa≈ jamadagnirṛṣiḥ prajāpatigṛhītayā tvayā cakṣurgṛhṇāmi prajābhyaḥ.
This posterior (aspect) is the universal remnant; his eye is the universal eye. Years are the eye of the world; Vārshī of the world is ṛk-same. From Ṛk comes Śukra; from Śukra seventeen; from seventeen the manifold form. Jamadagni is the ṛṣi, accepted by Prajāpati. By you I take the eye for the peoples.
Yajurveda 13.58 — Prajapati Devata

ईयमुपरि मतिस्तस्यै वाङ्मात्या हेमन्तो वाच्यः पङ्क्तिर्हैमन्ती पङ्क्त्यै निधनवन्निधनवतऽआग्रयणऽआग्रयणत त्रिणवत्रयस्त्रिंम्शौ त्रिणवत्रयस्त्रिंम्शाभ्यांम शाक्वररैवते विश्वकर्म ऋषिः प्रजापतिगृहीतया त्वया वाचं गृह्णामि प्रजाभ्यः।
īyamupari matistasyai vāΔmātyā hemanto vācyaḥ paΔktirhaimantī paΔktyai nidhanavannidhanavata'āgrayaṇa'āgrayaṇat triṇavatrayastri|mśau triṇavatrayastri|mśābhyā|m śākvararaivate viśvakarma ṛṣiḥ prajāpatigṛhītayā tvayā vāca≈ gṛhṇāmi prajābhyḥ.
Above this is its mind and speech-mother; Hemanta is the utterable sentence; Haimantī to the sentence. From nidhanavan (treasure) and from leading forth, thrice three thirty; thrice three thirty twice — Śākvararavite is the ṛṣi Viśvakarma, accepted by Prajāpati. By you I take speech for the peoples.
