आ प्र द्र॑व परा॒वतो॑ऽर्वा॒वत॑श्च वृत्रहन् । मध्वः॒ प्रति॒ प्रभ॑र्मणि
ā pra drava parāvato'rvāvataśca vṛtrahan madhvaḥ prati prabharmaṇi
He drove forth the flood like a river, slaughtering Vṛtra; he came onward to the missile of sweet delight.

ती॒व्राः सोमा॑स॒ आ ग॑हि सु॒तासो॑ मादयि॒ष्णवः॑ । पिबा॑ द॒धृग्यथो॑चि॒षे
tīvrāḥ somāsa ā gahi sutāso mādayiṣṇavaḥ pibā dadhṛgyathociṣe
Intense are the juices of Soma; take them, born ones, you who stir and press—drink, like curd, as the chanting calls.

इ॒षा म॑न्द॒स्वादु॒ तेऽरं॒ वरा॑य म॒न्यवे॑ । भुव॑त्त इन्द्र॒ शं हृ॒दे
iṣā mandasvādu te'raṃ varāya manyave bhuvatta indra śaṃ hṛde
This gentle sweet one, proclaim him excellent among the people; Indra, place joy firmly in our hearts.

आ त्व॑शत्र॒वा ग॑हि॒ न्यु१॒॑क्थानि॑ च हूयसे । उ॒प॒मे रो॑च॒ने दि॒वः
ā tvaśatravā gahi nyu1kthāni ca hūyase upame rocane divaḥ
Seize the enemies, bring the spoils and offer oblations; as the bright heaven is set before us.

तुभ्या॒यमद्रि॑भिः सु॒तो गोभिः॑ श्री॒तो मदा॑य॒ कम् । प्र सोम॑ इन्द्र हूयते
tubhyāyamadribhiḥ suto gobhiḥ śrīto madāya kam pra soma indra hūyate
For you, with mountains and fertile cows, splendour and intoxicating power: for Soma, Indra is invoked.

इन्द्र॑ श्रु॒धि सु मे॒ हव॑म॒स्मे सु॒तस्य॒ गोम॑तः । वि पी॒तिं तृ॒प्तिम॑श्नुहि
indra śrudhi su me havamasme sutasya gomataḥ vi pītiṃ tṛptimaśnuhi
Indra, hear; grant me speech and the strength of the born kine; let me obtain delight and fulfilment.

ya indra camaseṣvā somaścamūṣu te sutaḥ pibedasya tvamīśiṣe
Whoever among the frying vessels and rituals is Soma's, drink him; you, grant his wish to be fulfilled.

yo apsu candramā iva somaścamūṣu dadṛśe pibedasya tvamīśiṣe
Who in waters like the moon and Soma among the vats was seen—drink him; you, grant his desire.

yaṃ te śyenaḥ padābharattiro rajāṃsyaspṛtam pibedasya tvamīśiṣe
He whom the hawk seizes, carrying away the dust-strewn track—drink him; you, grant his desire.
