यदि॑न्द्रा॒हं यथा॒ त्वमीशी॑य॒ वस्व॒ एक॒ इत् । स्तो॒ता मे॒ गोष॑खा स्यात्
yadindrāhaṃ yathā tvamīśīya vasva eka it stotā me goṣakhā syāt
If you, O Indra, accept me as you are, one, protector of wealth, then may I be the feeder of kine.

शिक्षे॑यमस्मै॒ दित्से॑यं॒ शची॑पते मनी॒षिणे॑ । यद॒हं गोप॑तिः॒ स्याम्
śikṣeyamasmai ditseyaṃ śacīpate manīṣiṇe yadahaṃ gopatiḥ syām
Grant me instruction, O Shachi’s lord, O wise one, so that I may be lord of cows.

धे॒नुष्ट॑ इन्द्र सू॒नृता॒ यज॑मानाय सुन्व॒ते । गामश्वं॑ पि॒प्युषी॑ दुहे
dhenuṣṭa indra sūnṛtā yajamānāya sunvate gāmaśvaṃ pipyuṣī duhe
O Indra, strengthen the herds, harnessed for the sacrificer, bringing forth with song; milk the cows, yoked steeds and the milch‑ones.

न ते॑ व॒र्तास्ति॒ राध॑स॒ इन्द्र॑ दे॒वो न मर्त्यः॑ । यद्दित्स॑सि स्तु॒तो म॒घम्
na te vartāsti rādhasa indra devo na martyaḥ yadditsasi stuto magham
There are no paths for you like the roads of radiance; Indra is not mortal. What you have been praised for brings wealth.

य॒ज्ञ इन्द्र॑मवर्धय॒द्यद्भूमिं॒ व्यव॑र्तयत् । च॒क्रा॒ण ओ॑प॒शं दि॒वि
yajña indramavardhayadyadbhūmiṃ vyavartayat cakrāṇa opaśaṃ divi
The sacrifice increased Indra and turned the earth about; the wheels moved to the heaven’s verge.

vāvṛdhānasya te vayaṃ viśvā dhanāni jigyuṣaḥ ūtimindrā vṛṇīmahe
For you, O enhancer, we desire all riches; we choose to inspire Indra to rise up.

The splendour of Soma poured through the mid‑air, shining; Indra celebrated when the cows came together.

udgā ājadaṅgirobhya āviṣkṛṇvanguhā satīḥ arvāñcaṃ nunude valam
He sent forth caves with roaring Ajaṅgiras; he urged the cloud to advance the troop of cattle.

इन्द्रे॑ण रोच॒ना दि॒वो दृ॒ळ्हानि॑ दृंहि॒तानि॑ च । स्थि॒राणि॒ न प॑रा॒णुदे॑
indreṇa rocanā divo dṛḷhāni dṛṃhitāni ca sthirāṇi na parāṇude
By Indra the splendours of heaven were fixed, the mighty and firm; they did not depart afterwards.

अ॒पामू॒र्मिर्मद॑न्निव॒ स्तोम॑ इन्द्राजिरायते । वि ते॒ मदा॑ अराजिषुः
apāmūrmirmadanniva stoma indrājirāyate vi te madā arājiṣuḥ
The foam of waters, like intoxication, is praised in hymn; Indra increased the draughts. They removed arrogance from you.

त्वं हि स्तो॑म॒वर्ध॑न॒ इन्द्रास्यु॑क्थ॒वर्ध॑नः । स्तो॒तॄ॒णामु॒त भ॑द्र॒कृत्
tvaṃ hi stomavardhana indrāsyukthavardhanaḥ stotṝṇāmuta bhadrakṛt
You, indeed, increase the hymn; Indra, increaser of praise. Bless the worshippers with auspiciousness.

इन्द्र॒मित्के॒शिना॒ हरी॑ सोम॒पेया॑य वक्षतः । उप॑ य॒ज्ञं सु॒राध॑सम्
indramitkeśinā harī somapeyāya vakṣataḥ upa yajñaṃ surādhasam
Like he who pours Soma with hair‑like streams, the drinker from his chest brought near the heavenly sacrifice.

अ॒पां फेने॑न॒ नमु॑चेः॒ शिर॑ इ॒न्द्रोद॑वर्तयः । विश्वा॒ यदज॑यः॒ स्पृधः॑
apāṃ phenena namuceḥ śira indrodavartayaḥ viśvā yadajayaḥ spṛdhaḥ
Indra, washing with the foam of waters, turned the head; all the unconquered ones trembled at his prowess.

मा॒याभि॑रु॒त्सिसृ॑प्सत॒ इन्द्र॒ द्यामा॒रुरु॑क्षतः । अव॒ दस्यू॑ँरधूनुथाः
māyābhirutsisṛpsata indra dyāmārurukṣataḥ ava dasyūm̐radhūnuthāḥ
Fierce serpents sprang from the earth; Indra threw them down from the sky. The dāsus were smitten and dispersed.

अ॒सु॒न्वामि॑न्द्र सं॒सदं॒ विषू॑चीं॒ व्य॑नाशयः । सो॒म॒पा उत्त॑रो॒ भव॑न्
asunvāmindra saṃsadaṃ viṣūcīṃ vyanāśayaḥ somapā uttaro bhavan
I have called Indra to the assembly, to the keen spear of battle, to destroy the stout‑hearted; Soma‑drinkers, be exalted.
