प्र क्षोद॑सा॒ धाय॑सा सस्र ए॒षा सर॑स्वती ध॒रुण॒माय॑सी॒ पूः । प्र॒बाब॑धाना र॒थ्ये॑व याति॒ विश्वा॑ अ॒पो म॑हि॒ना सिन्धु॑र॒न्याः
pra kṣodasā dhāyasā sasra eṣā sarasvatī dharuṇamāyasī pūḥ prabābadhānā rathyeva yāti viśvā apo mahinā sindhuranyāḥ
Sweep forth with cleansing force; this Sarasvatī, broad and sustaining, goes forward like a chariot; all the waters, mighty, pass over the sea and other streams.

एका॑चेत॒त्सर॑स्वती न॒दीनां॒ शुचि॑र्य॒ती गि॒रिभ्य॒ आ स॑मु॒द्रात् । रा॒यश्चेत॑न्ती॒ भुव॑नस्य॒ भूरे॑र्घृ॒तं पयो॑ दुदुहे॒ नाहु॑षाय
ekācetatsarasvatī nadīnāṃ śuciryatī giribhya ā samudrāt rāyaścetantī bhuvanasya bhūrerghṛtaṃ payo duduhe nāhuṣāya
Sarasvatī alone, purifying the rivers, flows down from the mountains to the sea. She yields riches to the world; from her abundant milk they draw the clarified butter for sacred use.

स वा॑वृधे॒ नर्यो॒ योष॑णासु॒ वृषा॒ शिशु॑र्वृष॒भो य॒ज्ञिया॑सु । स वा॒जिनं॑ म॒घव॑द्भ्यो दधाति॒ वि सा॒तये॑ त॒न्वं॑ मामृजीत
sa vāvṛdhe naryo yoṣaṇāsu vṛṣā śiśurvṛṣabho yajñiyāsu sa vājinaṃ maghavadbhyo dadhāti vi sātaye tanvaṃ māmṛjīta
She increased for men, in women and in bulls and calves, in ritual practitioners; she gave strength and bounty to the generous, sustaining me—she granted me vigour.

उ॒त स्या नः॒ सर॑स्वती जुषा॒णोप॑ श्रवत्सु॒भगा॑ य॒ज्णे अ॒स्मिन् । मि॒तज्ञु॑भिर्नम॒स्यै॑रिया॒ना रा॒या यु॒जा चि॒दुत्त॑रा॒ सखि॑भ्यः
uta syā naḥ sarasvatī juṣāṇopa śravatsubhagā yajṇe asmin mitajñubhirnamasyairiyānā rāyā yujā ciduttarā sakhibhyaḥ
May Sarasvatī be favourable to us at the invocation, bringing prosperity in this sacrifice; accepted by the knowing, praised by noble friends, she unites companions and bestows uplift.

इ॒मा जुह्वा॑ना यु॒ष्मदा नमो॑भिः॒ प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ सरस्वति जुषस्व । तव॒ शर्म॑न्प्रि॒यत॑मे॒ दधा॑ना॒ उप॑ स्थेयाम शर॒णं न वृ॒क्षम्
imā juhvānā yuṣmadā namobhiḥ prati stomaṃ sarasvati juṣasva tava śarmanpriyatame dadhānā upa stheyāma śaraṇaṃ na vṛkṣam
These offerings we have poured for you; Sarasvatī, accept our hymns and honours. Place your dear auspice upon us; stand near as refuge, not as a tree to be climbed.

अ॒यमु॑ ते सरस्वति॒ वसि॑ष्ठो॒ द्वारा॑वृ॒तस्य॑ सुभगे॒ व्या॑वः । वर्ध॑ शुभ्रे स्तुव॒ते रा॑सि॒ वाजा॑न्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
ayamu te sarasvati vasiṣṭho dvārāvṛtasya subhage vyāvaḥ vardha śubhre stuvate rāsi vājānyūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
This Sarasvatī of yours, Vasiṣṭha’s glorious line-bearer, richly increases the radiant car; may the steeds draw us with prosperity and may she ever grant us well-being.
