सं पू॑षन्वि॒दुषा॑ नय॒ यो अञ्ज॑सानु॒शास॑ति । य ए॒वेदमिति॒ ब्रव॑त्
saṃ pūṣanviduṣā naya yo añjasānuśāsati ya evedamiti bravat
Lead us, O Pūṣan, with the knowing ones, he who guides along the paths and rules the lives; “this is indeed so” they said.

समु॑ पू॒ष्णा ग॑मेमहि॒ यो गृ॒हाँ अ॑भि॒शास॑ति । इ॒म ए॒वेति॑ च॒ ब्रव॑त्
samu pūṣṇā gamemahi yo gṛhām̐ abhiśāsati ima eveti ca bravat
We go together with Pūṣan who approaches the homes and attends them; ‘this indeed is so’ they proclaimed.

पू॒ष्णश्च॒क्रं न रि॑ष्यति॒ न कोशोऽव॑ पद्यते । नो अ॑स्य व्यथते प॒विः
pūṣṇaścakraṃ na riṣyati na kośo'va padyate no asya vyathate paviḥ
Pūṣan’s wheel does not slip, no container is cast aside; the world is not troubled on his account.

यो अ॑स्मै ह॒विषावि॑ध॒न्न तं पू॒षापि॑ मृष्यते । प्र॒थ॒मो वि॑न्दते॒ वसु॑
yo asmai haviṣāvidhanna taṃ pūṣāpi mṛṣyate prathamo vindate vasu
Whomsoever the sacrificer appoints as distributor of offerings, Pūṣan also honors him; first he finds the treasure.

पू॒षा गा अन्वे॑तु नः पू॒षा र॑क्ष॒त्वर्व॑तः । पू॒षा वाजं॑ सनोतु नः
pūṣā gā anvetu naḥ pūṣā rakṣatvarvataḥ pūṣā vājaṃ sanotu naḥ
Let Pūṣan bring the cows to us, protect Pūṣan on all sides; let Pūṣan grant us fodder and wealth.

पूष॒न्ननु॒ प्र गा इ॑हि॒ यज॑मानस्य सुन्व॒तः । अ॒स्माकं॑ स्तुव॒तामु॒त
pūṣannanu pra gā ihi yajamānasya sunvataḥ asmākaṃ stuvatāmuta
Pūṣan, come forward bringing the cows near the worshipper, hear our hymns as we praise.

माकि॑र्नेश॒न्माकीं॑ रिष॒न्माकीं॒ सं शा॑रि॒ केव॑टे । अथारि॑ष्टाभि॒रा ग॑हि
mākirneśanmākīṃ riṣanmākīṃ saṃ śāri kevaṭe athāriṣṭābhirā gahi
Not weakening, not striking us down, not injuring us—O Pūṣan, be far from harm; take hold of us, free from calamities.

शृ॒ण्वन्तं॑ पू॒षणं॑ व॒यमिर्य॒मन॑ष्टवेदसम् । ईशा॑नं रा॒य ई॑महे
śaṛṇvantaṃ pūṣaṇaṃ vayamiryamanaṣṭavedasam īśānaṃ rāya īmahe
We have listened to Pūṣan, the unerring, learned by the eight Vedas; we invoke him as lord and protector of the realm.

पूष॒न्तव॑ व्र॒ते व॒यं न रि॑ष्येम॒ कदा॑ च॒न । स्तो॒तार॑स्त इ॒ह स्म॑सि
pūṣantava vrate vayaṃ na riṣyema kadā cana stotārasta iha smasi
We keep Pūṣan in our vow; we shall not err at any time. The singers are here in this place.

परि॑ पू॒षा प॒रस्ता॒द्धस्तं॑ दधातु॒ दक्षि॑णम् । पुन॑र्नो न॒ष्टमाज॑तु
pari pūṣā parastāddhastaṃ dadhātu dakṣiṇam punarno naṣṭamājatu
Place Pūṣan around and to the far side; place him ay the right; may he not bring us to loss again.
