आ तू न॑ इन्द्र म॒द्र्य॑ग्घुवा॒नः सोम॑पीतये । हरि॑भ्यां याह्यद्रिवः
ā tū na indra madryagghuvānaḥ somapītaye haribhyāṃ yāhyadrivaḥ
Bring Soma hither, Indra, the joyous, for drinking; let the mountains offer it to the Hari (Indra).

स॒त्तो होता॑ न ऋ॒त्विय॑स्तिस्ति॒रे ब॒र्हिरा॑नु॒षक् । अयु॑ज्रन्प्रा॒तरद्र॑यः
satto hotā na ṛtviyastistire barhirānuṣak ayujranprātaradrayaḥ
The priest pours the sacred juice; the seasons observe; he mixed the morning libation with the drops.

imā brahma brahmavāhaḥ kriyanta ā barhiḥ sīda vīhi śūra puroḷāśam
These Brahmans bearing the Brahman act here upon the altar; rouse, O hero, the ancient folk.

A roaring one in the hymns, slayer of Vṛtra in the songs; Girvanah in the chants.

म॒तयः॑ सोम॒पामु॒रुं रि॒हन्ति॒ शव॑स॒स्पति॑म् । इन्द्रं॑ व॒त्सं न मा॒तरः॑
matayaḥ somapāmuruṃ rihanti śavasaspatim indraṃ vatsaṃ na mātaraḥ
Thoughts, like Soma-drinkers, stir the lord of victims; Indra, do not be mother to the calf.

स म॑न्दस्वा॒ ह्यन्ध॑सो॒ राध॑से त॒न्वा॑ म॒हे । न स्तो॒तारं॑ नि॒दे क॑रः
sa mandasvā hyandhaso rādhase tanvā mahe na stotāraṃ nide karaḥ
He breathed gently, blind to splendor, stretched forth his great body; no hand made him a praiser.

व॒यमि॑न्द्र त्वा॒यवो॑ ह॒विष्म॑न्तो जरामहे । उ॒त त्वम॑स्म॒युर्व॑सो
vayamindra tvāyavo haviṣmanto jarāmahe uta tvamasmayurvaso
We, Indra, invoking you with offerings grow old; you are our protector in the year.

मारे अ॒स्मद्वि मु॑मुचो॒ हरि॑प्रिया॒र्वाङ्या॑हि । इन्द्र॑ स्वधावो॒ मत्स्वे॒ह
māre asmadvi mumuco haripriyārvāṅyāhi indra svadhāvo matsveha
Deliver us from death; O Hari-cherished one, sing the beloved songs; Indra, be present here in your own place.

अ॒र्वाञ्चं॑ त्वा सु॒खे रथे॒ वह॑तामिन्द्र के॒शिना॑ । घृ॒तस्नू॑ ब॒र्हिरा॒सदे॑
arvāñcaṃ tvā sukhe rathe vahatāmindra keśinā ghṛtasnū barhirāsade
Drive forth the Arvans for your joy in the chariot, O Indra with flowing hair; smear with ghee the ritual cakes of the priests.
