अग्ने॒ सह॑स्व॒ पृत॑ना अ॒भिमा॑ती॒रपा॑स्य । दु॒ष्टर॒स्तर॒न्नरा॑ती॒र्वर्चो॑ धा य॒ज्ञवा॑हसे
agne sahasva pṛtanā abhimātīrapāsya duṣṭarastarannarātīrvarco dhā yajñavāhase
Agni, be powerful with your oblations; repel the evil, the hostile man who despises rites. Glory attends the bearer of sacrifice.

अग्न॑ इ॒ळा समि॑ध्यसे वी॒तिहो॑त्रो॒ अम॑र्त्यः । जु॒षस्व॒ सू नो॑ अध्व॒रम्
agna iḷā samidhyase vītihotro amartyaḥ juṣasva sū no adhvaram
Agni, you are invoked with Ilā, the vigorous priest; O mortal, drink now this sacred draught; bring us the path of the preserver.

अग्ने॑ द्यु॒म्नेन॑ जागृवे॒ सह॑सः सूनवाहुत । एदं ब॒र्हिः स॑दो॒ मम॑
agne dyumnena jāgṛve sahasaḥ sūnavāhuta edaṃ barhiḥ sado mama
Agni, together with Dyaus you were awakened, the thousand-offering bringer. This bark (sacrificial vessel) is steadfast for me.

अग्ने॒ विश्वे॑भिर॒ग्निभि॑र्दे॒वेभि॑र्महया॒ गिरः॑ । य॒ज्ञेषु॒ य उ॑ चा॒यवः॑
agne viśvebhiragnibhirdevebhirmahayā giraḥ yajñeṣu ya u cāyavaḥ
Agni, with all your fires and gods, you are the mighty word. In sacrifices you are the radiant oblation-bearer.

अग्ने॒ दा दा॒शुषे॑ र॒यिं वी॒रव॑न्तं॒ परी॑णसम् । शि॒शी॒हि नः॑ सूनु॒मतः॑
agne dā dāśuṣe rayiṃ vīravantaṃ parīṇasam śiśīhi naḥ sūnumataḥ
Agni, give sovereign wealth, heroic and great, fully ripened. May our sons prosper under your protection.
