इ॒मां मे॑ अग्ने स॒मिध॑मि॒मामु॑प॒सदं॑ वनेः । इ॒मा उ॒ षु श्रु॑धी॒ गिरः॑
imāṃ me agne samidhamimāmupasadaṃ vaneḥ imā u ṣu śrudhī giraḥ
O Agni, I place this fuel before you, this approach from the forest; hear now this voice.

अ॒या ते॑ अग्ने विधे॒मोर्जो॑ नपा॒दश्व॑मिष्टे । ए॒ना सू॒क्तेन॑ सुजात

This sacrificial offering for you, Agni, is prepared with youthful strength and is rightly sought; it is well-born by this suktam.

May songs and utterances flow for thee, bringing wealth and the flowing streams of riches; may they go round about, circling round.

For the clay-born one, the swift, the best of oblations: grant us the best song, O voice; seize the honored priest.

Within thou, Agni, art approached by the wise poets born of both; the envoy is indeed born as Mitra.

Thou, O wise one, hast come near; bestow healing, attention, and thou art present in this brave praise among the hymns.
