वि॒श्व॒जिते॑ धन॒जिते॑ स्व॒र्जिते॑ सत्रा॒जिते॑ नृ॒जित॑ उर्वरा॒जिते॑ । अ॒श्व॒जिते॑ गो॒जिते॑ अ॒ब्जिते॑ भ॒रेन्द्रा॑य॒ सोमं॑ यज॒ताय॑ हर्य॒तम्
viśvajite dhanajite svarjite satrājite nṛjita urvarājite aśvajite gojite abjite bharendrāya somaṃ yajatāya haryatam
Conqueror of the world, conqueror of wealth, conqueror of heaven, conqueror of ritual, conqueror of men, ruler of broad realms; conqueror of horses, of kine, of archery—O Bharendra, may Soma be worshipped for victory.

अ॒भि॒भुवे॑ऽभिभ॒ङ्गाय॑ वन्व॒तेऽषा॑ळ्हाय॒ सह॑मानाय वे॒धसे॑ । तु॒वि॒ग्रये॒ वह्न॑ये दु॒ष्टरी॑तवे सत्रा॒साहे॒ नम॒ इन्द्रा॑य वोचत
abhibhuve'bhibhaṅgāya vanvate'ṣāḷhāya sahamānāya vedhase tuvigraye vahnaye duṣṭarītave satrāsāhe nama indrāya vocata
He overpowered and shattered for overthrow, he went forth for fierce assault, swift in ritual and aroused in wrath. For you, O Indra, who endure hostile courses and injure the wicked, salutations are spoken.

स॒त्रा॒सा॒हो ज॑नभ॒क्षो ज॑नंस॒हश्च्यव॑नो यु॒ध्मो अनु॒ जोष॑मुक्षि॒तः । वृ॒तं॒च॒यः सहु॑रिर्वि॒क्ष्वा॑रि॒त इन्द्र॑स्य वोचं॒ प्र कृ॒तानि॑ वी॒र्या॑
satrāsāho janabhakṣo janaṃsahaścyavano yudhmo anu joṣamukṣitaḥ vṛtaṃcayaḥ sahurirvikṣvārita indrasya vocaṃ pra kṛtāni vīryā
Foeman of the satra, devourer of men, enduring of peoples, rushing in battle, strong in heroic might—behold the brave were seen and praised; they spoke of Indra’s deeds of valour.

अ॒ना॒नु॒दो वृ॑ष॒भो दोध॑तो व॒धो ग॑म्भी॒र ऋ॒ष्वो अस॑मष्टकाव्यः । र॒ध्र॒चो॒दः श्नथ॑नो वीळि॒तस्पृ॒थुरिन्द्रः॑ सुय॒ज्ञ उ॒षसः॒ स्व॑र्जनत्
anānudo vṛṣabho dodhato vadho gambhīra ṛṣvo asamaṣṭakāvyaḥ radhracodaḥ śnathano vīḷitaspṛthurindraḥ suyajña uṣasaḥ svarjanat
A bull unyoked yields milk, a mighty slaughter, deep-voiced, the bellowing steed—resolute, the undefeated one praised the oblation, and Indra, skilful in sacrifice, produced the dawn.

य॒ज्ञेन॑ गा॒तुम॒प्तुरो॑ विविद्रिरे॒ धियो॑ हिन्वा॒ना उ॒शिजो॑ मनी॒षिणः॑ । अ॒भि॒स्वरा॑ नि॒षदा॒ गा अ॑व॒स्यव॒ इन्द्रे॑ हिन्वा॒ना द्रवि॑णान्याशत
yajñena gātumapturo vividrire dhiyo hinvānā uśijo manīṣiṇaḥ abhisvarā niṣadā gā avasyava indre hinvānā draviṇānyāśata
By sacrifice they obtained to go; they opened the minds of those who destroy thoughts, the thoughtful ones. Invoking the strong through hymn, they seized wealth and offerings for Indra and cast down hundreds of possessions.

इन्द्र॒ श्रेष्ठा॑नि॒ द्रवि॑णानि धेहि॒ चित्तिं॒ दक्ष॑स्य सुभग॒त्वम॒स्मे । पोषं॑ रयी॒णामरि॑ष्टिं त॒नूनां॑ स्वा॒द्मानं॑ वा॒चः सु॑दिन॒त्वमह्ना॑म्
indra śreṣṭhāni draviṇāni dhehi cittiṃ dakṣasya subhagatvamasme poṣaṃ rayīṇāmariṣṭiṃ tanūnāṃ svādmānaṃ vācaḥ sudinatvamahnām
Indra, grant excellent treasures, and bestow a discerning mind, habilitation of dexterity upon me. Nurture the wealth of the kine, the prosperity of the herds; make my being and speech fortunate by the day’s rites.
