अ॒भि॒भुवे॑ऽभिभ॒ङ्गाय॑ वन्व॒तेऽषा॑ळ्हाय॒ सह॑मानाय वे॒धसे॑ । तु॒वि॒ग्रये॒ वह्न॑ये दु॒ष्टरी॑तवे सत्रा॒साहे॒ नम॒ इन्द्रा॑य वोचत
abhibhuve'bhibhaṅgāya vanvate'ṣāḷhāya sahamānāya vedhase tuvigraye vahnaye duṣṭarītave satrāsāhe nama indrāya vocata
He overpowered and shattered for overthrow, he went forth for fierce assault, swift in ritual and aroused in wrath. For you, O Indra, who endure hostile courses and injure the wicked, salutations are spoken.
Offer adoration to Indra, the overcomer, the destroyer, the munificent, the invincible, the all-enduring, the creator, the all-adorable; the sustainer, the unassailable, the ever-victorious.
To him the potent One, who conquers and breaks down, the Victor never vanquished who disposes all, The migbty-voiced, the rider, unassailable, to Indra everconquering speak your reverent prayer.
