प्र ह्यच्छा॑ मनी॒षा स्पा॒र्हा यन्ति॑ नि॒युतः॑ । प्र द॒स्रा नि॒युद्र॑थः पू॒षा अ॑विष्टु॒ माहि॑नः
pra hyacchā manīṣā spārhā yanti niyutaḥ pra dasrā niyudrathaḥ pūṣā aviṣṭu māhinaḥ
Indeed thought and desire strive to attain what is ordained; the radiant Pusha directs and pours forth into the world.

यस्य॒ त्यन्म॑हि॒त्वं वा॒ताप्य॑म॒यं जनः॑ । विप्र॒ आ वं॑सद्धी॒तिभि॒श्चिके॑त सुष्टुती॒नाम्
yasya tyanmahitvaṃ vātāpyamayaṃ janaḥ vipra ā vaṃsaddhītibhiściketa suṣṭutīnām
Whose greatness the wind-breathing man surely praises — as the inspired priest, with songs and laudations, makes the place of worship pure with hymns.

स वे॑द सुष्टुती॒नामिन्दु॒र्न पू॒षा वृषा॑ । अ॒भि प्सुरः॑ प्रुषायति व्र॒जं न॒ आ प्रु॑षायति
sa veda suṣṭutīnāmindurna pūṣā vṛṣā abhi psuraḥ pruṣāyati vrajaṃ na ā pruṣāyati
He knows the praises of those well-pleasing; Pushan, not the moon, is the vigorous bull. He pressed upon the pasture; he did not press upon the stallion.

मं॒सी॒महि॑ त्वा व॒यम॒स्माकं॑ देव पूषन् । म॒ती॒नां च॒ साध॑नं॒ विप्रा॑णां चाध॒वम्
maṃsīmahi tvā vayamasmākaṃ deva pūṣan matīnāṃ ca sādhanaṃ viprāṇāṃ cādhavam
We deem you our meseat, O god Pūṣan. The attainment of counsels and the support of bards and of men of life.

प्रत्य॑र्धिर्य॒ज्ञाना॑मश्वह॒यो रथा॑नाम् । ऋषिः॒ स यो मनु॑र्हितो॒ विप्र॑स्य यावयत्स॒खः
pratyardhiryajñānāmaśvahayo rathānām ṛṣiḥ sa yo manurhito viprasya yāvayatsakhaḥ
Half the rites are the horses, half the chariots of the sacrifices. The sage who was approved of the folk, companion of the priest, they called the bull.

आ॒धीष॑माणायाः॒ पतिः॑ शु॒चाया॑श्च शु॒चस्य॑ च । वा॒सो॒वा॒योऽवी॑ना॒मा वासां॑सि॒ मर्मृ॑जत्
ādhīṣamāṇāyāḥ patiḥ śucāyāśca śucasya ca vāsovāyo'vīnāmā vāsāṃsi marmṛjat
Lord of the invoked, pure are the pure and of the pure. The dwellers, the streams, the names—he spoke in the dwellings.

इ॒नो वाजा॑नां॒ पति॑रि॒नः पु॑ष्टी॒नां सखा॑ । प्र श्मश्रु॑ हर्य॒तो दू॑धो॒द्वि वृथा॒ यो अदा॑भ्यः
ino vājānāṃ patirinaḥ puṣṭīnāṃ sakhā pra śmaśru haryato dūdhodvi vṛthā yo adābhyaḥ
He is the lord of heroes, friend of nourishers. He searched and found the milk of the plundered; in vain he took it away from them.

आ ते॒ रथ॑स्य पूषन्न॒जा धुरं॑ ववृत्युः । विश्व॑स्या॒र्थिनः॒ सखा॑ सनो॒जा अन॑पच्युतः
ā te rathasya pūṣannajā dhuraṃ vavṛtyuḥ viśvasyārthinaḥ sakhā sanojā anapacyutaḥ
May Pūṣan make plain the axle of the chariot for you. Friend of all seeking wealth, born with sons, unerring.

अ॒स्माक॑मू॒र्जा रथं॑ पू॒षा अ॑विष्टु॒ माहि॑नः । भुव॒द्वाजा॑नां वृ॒ध इ॒मं नः॑ शृणव॒द्धव॑म्
asmākamūrjā rathaṃ pūṣā aviṣṭu māhinaḥ bhuvadvājānāṃ vṛdha imaṃ naḥ śaṛṇavaddhavam
Pūṣan entered our firmly yoked chariot, O men. O you of the bulls, hear this growth for us.
