इ॒मा नु कं॒ भुव॑ना सीषधा॒मेन्द्र॑श्च॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः
imā nu kaṃ bhuvanā sīṣadhāmendraśca viśve ca devāḥ
Now who indeed is master of these realms—Indra the steadfast, and all the gods together?

य॒ज्ञं च॑ नस्त॒न्वं॑ च प्र॒जां चा॑दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॑ स॒ह ची॑कॢपाति
yajñaṃ ca nastanvaṃ ca prajāṃ cādityairindraḥ saha cīkḷpāti
Indra, with the Aditi-born gods, upheld the sacrifice, our offspring and progeny; he cried aloud with a rallying call.

आ॒दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भि॑र॒स्माकं॑ भूत्ववि॒ता त॒नूना॑म्
ādityairindraḥ sagaṇo marudbhirasmākaṃ bhūtvavitā tanūnām
Indra with the Aditi-born, with the Maruts, became our protector, assuming forms for us.

ह॒त्वाय॑ दे॒वा असु॑रा॒न्यदाय॑न्दे॒वा दे॑व॒त्वम॑भि॒रक्ष॑माणाः
hatvāya devā asurānyadāyandevā devatvamabhirakṣamāṇāḥ
The gods slew demonic foes and gave to the gods the godly rule, protecting it fearlessly.

प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म॒र्कम॑नय॒ञ्छची॑भि॒रादित्स्व॒धामि॑षि॒रां पर्य॑पश्यन्
pratyañcamarkamanayañchacībhirāditsvadhāmiṣirāṃ paryapaśyan
They brought back the sun and brought morning; with songs they beheld the sacred fires and their offerings.
