आ त्वा॑ वहन्तु॒ हर॑यो॒ वृष॑णं॒ सोम॑पीतये । इन्द्र॑ त्वा॒ सूर॑चक्षसः
ā tvā vahantu harayo vṛṣaṇaṃ somapītaye indra tvā sūracakṣasaḥ
May the greens carry you, O prize-winning bull, that we may drink Soma; Indra, may you grant radiant eyes.

इ॒मा धा॒ना घृ॑त॒स्नुवो॒ हरी॑ इ॒होप॑ वक्षतः । इन्द्रं॑ सु॒खत॑मे॒ रथे॑
imā dhānā ghṛtasnuvo harī ihopa vakṣataḥ indraṃ sukhatame rathe
These riches, cows, clarified butter, and mead — O Hari, place them on the chest; Indra, bring happiest bounty to the chariot.

indraṃ prātarhavāmaha indraṃ prayatyadhvare indraṃ somasya pītaye
We invoke Indra at the morning libation, Indra on the sacrificial mound; Indra for Soma to be drunk.

उप॑ नः सु॒तमा ग॑हि॒ हरि॑भिरिन्द्र के॒शिभिः॑ । सु॒ते हि त्वा॒ हवा॑महे
upa naḥ sutamā gahi haribhirindra keśibhiḥ sute hi tvā havāmahe
Bring near to us, O Sutama, grasped by Hari’s locks; for thou indeed art the gift we invoke.

सेमं नः॒ स्तोम॒मा ग॒ह्युपे॒दं सव॑नं सु॒तम् । गौ॒रो न तृ॑षि॒तः पि॑ब
semaṃ naḥ stomamā gahyupedaṃ savanaṃ sutam gauro na tṛṣitaḥ piba
Bring unto us this praised oblation, the invoked libation, O Sutam; drink, O Gauru, not overcome by thirst.

These Somas, these draughts, O Indra, the Sutamas have poured upon the sacred grass; drink them, O Indra, with might.

ayaṃ te stomo agriyo hṛdispṛgastu śaṃtamaḥ athā somaṃ sutaṃ piba
This hymn is foremost, touching the heart with fire; be appeased — thus drink the poured Soma, O Sutam.

विश्व॒मित्सव॑नं सु॒तमिन्द्रो॒ मदा॑य गच्छति । वृ॒त्र॒हा सोम॑पीतये
viśvamitsavanaṃ sutamindro madāya gacchati vṛtrahā somapītaye
Indra, the all-seeing, goes forth delighted to the universal libation; the slayer of Vritra for Soma’s drinking.

सेमं नः॒ काम॒मा पृ॑ण॒ गोभि॒रश्वैः॑ शतक्रतो । स्तवा॑म त्वा स्वा॒ध्यः॑
semaṃ naḥ kāmamā pṛṇa gobhiraśvaiḥ śatakrato stavāma tvā svādhyaḥ
Grant us, desirous, abundant kine, steeds and a hundredfold strength; may your own sacred invocations protect us.
