१-३ अथर्वा। १ द्यावापृथिवी, सोमः, सविता, अन्तरिक्षं, सप्तऋषयः, अभ॑यं द्यावापृथिवी इ॒हास्तु॒ नोऽभ॑यं॒ सोमः॑ सवि॒ता नः॑ कृणोतु । अभ॑यं नोऽस्तू॒र्व॑१न्तरि॑क्षं सप्तऋषी॒णां च॑ ह॒विषाभ॑यं नो अस्तु ॥१॥
dyāvāpṛthivī somaḥ savitā antarikṣaṃ saptarṣayaḥ abhayaṃ dyāvāpṛthivī ihāstu no ’bhayaṃ somaḥ savitā naḥ kṛṇotu | abhayaṃ no ’stv antarīkṣaṃ saptarṣīṇāṃ ca haviṣā bhayaṃ no astu
May Dyāvā-Pṛthivī, Soma, Savitā, the mid‑region, and the Seven Ṛṣis grant us fearlessness here. May fearlessness be ours from earth and heaven; may Soma Savitā make us safe. May the mid‑region be without fear for us, and by the offerings of the Seven Ṛṣis, may fearlessness be ours.

अ॒स्मै ग्रामा॑य प्र॒दिश॒श्चत॑स्र॒ ऊर्जं॑ सुभू॒तं स्व॒स्ति स॑वि॒ता नः॑ कृणोतु । अ॒श॒त्र्विन्द्रो॒ अभ॑यं नः कृणोत्व॒न्यत्र॒ राज्ञा॑म॒भि या॑तु म॒न्युः ॥२॥
asmai grāmāya pradiśaś catasra ūrjaṃ subhūtaṃ svasti savitā naḥ kṛṇotu | aśatrv indro abhayaṃ naḥ kṛṇotv anyatra rājñām abhi yātu manyuḥ
For this village in the four quarters, may Savitā grant well-being, rich food, and prosperity. May Indra make us without enemies; let the wrath of kings pass elsewhere.

अ॒न॒मि॒त्रं नो॑ अध॒राद॑नमि॒त्रं न॑ उत्त॒रात्। इन्द्रा॑नमि॒त्रं नः॑ प॒श्चाद॑नमि॒त्रं पु॒रस्कृ॑धि ॥३॥
anamitraṃ no adharād anamitraṃ na uttarāt | indrānamitraṃ naḥ paścād anamitraṃ puraskṛdhi
Let there be no foe for us below, no foe above. O Indra, make there no foe behind us; remove the foe from before us.
