brahmā’sya śīrṣaṃ bṛhadasya pṛṣṭhaṃ vāmadevyam udaram odanasya chandāṃsi pakṣau mukham asya satyaṃ viṣṭārī jātas tapaso ’dhi yajñaḥ
Brahmā is its head, Bṛhat its back, Vāmadeva its belly of odana; the metres are its wings, its mouth is Truth. Broadly extended, born of tapas, the sacrifice arose.
Atharvaveda — Kanda 4, Sukta 34, Mantra 2 (ब्रह्मौदनम्।)
Atharvaveda (Shaunaka Samhita) · Chapter Kanda 4 · Verse 4.34.2
anāsthāḥ pūtāḥ pavanena śuddhāḥ śucayaḥ śucim api yanti lokam naiṣāṃ śiśnaṃ pradaha ti jātavedāḥ svarge loke bahu straiṇam eṣām
Boneless, purified, cleansed by the wind, the pure ones go to the pure world. Jātavedas does not burn their organ; in heaven their life is richly feminine.
Atharvaveda — Kanda 4, Sukta 34, Mantra 3 (ब्रह्मौदनम्।)

viṣṭāriṇam odanaṃ ye pacanti nainān avartiḥ sacate kadācana āste yama upa yāti devān saṃ gandharvair madate somyebhiḥ
Those who cook the far-spreading odana—no backslider ever joins them. One sits with Yama, one goes to the gods, one revels with the Soma-loving Gandharvas.
Atharvaveda — Kanda 4, Sukta 34, Mantra 4 (ब्रह्मौदनम्।)

viṣṭāriṇam odanaṃ ye pacanti nainān yamaḥ pari muṣṇāti retaḥ rathī ha bhūtvā rathayāna īyate pakṣī ha bhūtvāti divaḥ sameti
Those who cook the far-spreading odana—Yama does not steal away their seed. Becoming a charioteer he rides a car; becoming a bird he swiftly reaches the sky.

You, most able spreader of sacrifices, having prepared the expanse, entered the sky. It extends the egg-born, the kumuda, the lotus-fibre, the śālūka, the shell, the mūlālī. May all these streams come to you, brimming with sweetness in the heavenly world; may lotus-lakes stand around you on every side.

Lakes of ghee, banks of honey, divine waters, filled with milk and with water and with curds—may all these streams come to you, brimming with sweetness in the heavenly world; may lotus-lakes stand around you on every side.

I set four jars in fourfold fashion, filled with milk, with water, with curds. May all these streams come to you, brimming with sweetness in the heavenly world; may lotus-lakes stand around you on every side.

imam odanaṁ ni dadhe brāhmaṇeṣu viṣṭāriṇaṁ lokajitaṁ svargam | sa me mā kṣeṣṭa svadhayā pinvamāno viśvarūpā dhenuḥ kāmadughā me astu |
This food I set among the Brāhmaṇas—expansive, world-conquering, heavenly. May it not harm me; swelling with its own power, may the all-formed, wish-fulfilling Cow be mine.
