७ त्र्यवसाना षट्पदा उपरिष्टा द्दैवी बृहती ककुम्मतीगर्भा विराड् जगती, ८ उपरिष्टाद् बृहती। यद् राजा॑नो वि॒भज॑न्त इष्टापू॒र्तस्य॑ षोड॒शं य॒मस्या॒मी स॑भा॒सदः॑ । अवि॒स्तस्मा॒त् प्र मु॑ञ्चति द॒त्तः शि॑ति॒पात् स्व॒धा॥१॥

try-avasānā ṣaṭ-padā upariṣṭād daivī bṛhatī kakummatī-garbhā virāḍ jagatī, upariṣṭād bṛhatī. yad rājāno vibhajanta iṣṭāpūrtasya ṣoḍaśaṃ yamas yāmī sabhāsadaḥ. avis tasmāt pramuñcati dattaḥ śitipāt svadhā.

When kings divide the sixteenth share of Iṣṭāpūrta, the assembly members are in Yama’s domain. From there the given offering releases; the fallen to whiteness, svadhā.
