ये देवाऽ अग्निनेत्राः पुरःसदस्तेभ्यः स्वाहा ये देवा यमनेत्रा दक्षिणासदस्तेभ्यः स्वाहा ये देवा विश्वदेवनेत्राः पश्चात्सदस्तेभ्यः स्वाहा ये देवा मित्रावरुणनेत्रा वा मरुन्नेत्रा वोत्तरासदस्तेभ्यः स्वाहा ये देवाः सोमनेत्राऽ उपरिसदो दुवस्वन्तस्तेभ्यः स्वाहा।
Ye devā' agninetrāḥ puraḥsadastebhyaḥ svāhā ye devā yamanetrā dakṣiṇāsadastebhyaḥ svāhā ye devā viśvadevanetrāḥ paścātsadastebhyaḥ svāhā ye devā mitrāvaruṇanetrā vā marunnetrā vottarāsadastebhyaḥ svāhā ye devāḥ somanetrā' uparisado duvasvantastebhyaḥ svāhā.
Those gods who are Agni-eyed—may they have the eastern seat, svaha. Those gods who are Yama-eyed—may they have the southern seat, svaha. Those gods who are all-god-eyed—may they have the posterior seat, svaha. Those gods who are Mitra–Varuṇa-eyed or Maru-eyed—may they have the northern seat, svaha. Those gods who are Soma-eyed or Dūvasvant—may they have the upper seat, svaha.
