या तेऽअग्नेऽयःशया तनुर्वर्षिष्ठा गह्वरेष्ठा। ऊग्रम वचोऽ अपावधीत्त्वेषम वचोऽ अपावधीत स्वाहा। या तेऽ अग्नेऽ रजःशया तनूउर्वर्षिष्ठा गह्वरेष्ठा। ऊग्रम वचोऽ अपावधीत्त्वेषम वचोऽ अपावधीत स्वाहा। या तेऽ अग्ने हरिशया तनू उ र्वर्षिष्ठा गह्वरेष्ठा। ऊग्रम वचोऽ अपावधीत्त्वेषम वचोऽ अपावधीत स्वाहा।
Yā te'agne'yaḥśayā tanurvarṣiṣṭhā gahvareṣṭhā. ūgram vaco' apāvadhīttveṣam vaco' apāvadhīt svāhā. Yā te' agne' rajaḥśayā tanūurvarṣiṣṭhā gahvareṣṭhā. ūgram vaco' apāvadhīttveṣam vaco' apāvadhīt svāhā. Whether you, Agni, are of the nature of breath, body, or interior—may the potent word strike and cut off this (evil); may that word strike and cut it off, svāhā.
