Sū u pasthā'adya devo vanaspatirabhavadaśvibhyā≈ chāgena saravatyai meṣeṇendrāya' ṛṣabheṇākṣa| n stān medastaḥ prati pacatāgṛbhīṣatāvīvṛdhanta puroŒāśairapuraśvinā sarasvatīndraḥ sutrāmā surāsomān.
Today the god Vanaspati became a support for the steeds; with the kid for Sarasvatī, with the sheep for Indra, with the bull for the ṛṣabha—may the ghee not be lacking; the mead is cooked and the portions increase by the chiefs and the leaders; Sarasvatī-Indra, Sūtrāmṇ, and sacred Soma.
