परमेष्ठी त्वा सादयतु दिवस्पृष्ठे व्यचस्वतीं प्रथस्वतीं दिवं यच्छ दिवं दृंम्ह दिवं मा हिंम्सीः। विश्वस्मै प्रणायापानाय व्यानायोदानाय प्रतिष्ठायै चरित्राय। सू उ र्यस्त्वाभिपातु मह्या स्वस्त्या छर्दिषा शन्तमेन तया देवतयाऽङ्गिरस्वद ध्रुवे सीदतम।
Parameṣṭhī tvā sādayatu divaspṛṣṭhe vyacasvatī≈ prathasvatī≈ diva≈ yaccha diva≈ dṛ|mha diva≈ mā hi|msīḥ. Viśvasmai praṇāyāpānāya vyānāyodānāya pratiṣṭhāyai caritrāya. Sū u ryastvābhipātu mahyā svastyā chardiṣā śantamena tayā devatayā'Δgirasvad dhruve sīdatam.
Supreme One, seat thee on the heaven’s brink; make manifest the high and foremost sky—grant what is sky, what is firm. Do not harm. For the all, for inhalation and exhalation, for vyāna and udāna, for establishment and for conduct. Sun, may you send auspiciousness to me; with these sacred offerings, with soothing prayer, may the deity Angiras sit firmly upon the pole.
