āyamuttarāt sa≈yadvasustasya tārkṣyaścāriṣṭanemiśca senānīgrāmaṇyau. Viśvācī ca ghṛtācī cāpsarasāvāpo hetirvātaḥ prahetistebhyo namo'astu te no'vantu te no mṛŒayantu te ya≈ dviṣmo yaśca no deveṣṭi tameṣā≈ jambhe dadhmaḥ.
This is the northward Sānyadvasu, his Tārkṣya and the iron-hooped ones, his warriors and hamlets. Viśvāchī and Ghṛtācī are the Apsarās; waters and winds are the causes of protection and the slaughters for them. Hail to them; may they protect us, may they not injure us, may the gods who hate us not harm them; on their jaws let us set them.
