सम्रादसि प्रतीची दिग अदित्यास्ते देवाऽअधिपतयो वरुणो हेतीनं प्रतिधर्ता सप्तदशस्त्वा स्तोमः पृथिव्यां श्रयतु मरुत्वतीयमुक्थमव्यथायै स्तभ्नातु वैरूउपंम साम प्रतिष्ठित्याऽ अन्तरिक्षऽ ऋषयस्त्वा प्रथमजा देवेषु दिवो मात्रया वरिम्णा प्रथन्तु विधर्ता चायमधिपतिश्च ते त्वा सर्वे संविदाना नाकस्य पृष्ठे सवर्गे लोके यजमानं च सादयन्तु।
Samrādasi pratīcī dig adityāste devā'adhipatayo varuṇo hetīna≈ pratidhartā saptadaśastvā stomaḥ pṛthivyā≈ śrayatu marutvatīyamukthamavyathāyai stabhnātu vairūupa|m sāma pratiṣṭhityā' antarikṣa' ṛṣayastvā prathamajā deveṣu divo mātrayā varimṇā prathantu vidhartā cāyamadhipatiśca te tvā sarve sa≈vidānā nākasya pṛṣṭhe savarge loke yajamāna≈ ca sādayantu.
You preside over the eastern quarter; Adityas and gods are your overlords; Varuṇa upholds the fetters. Seventeen stomas may be placed on earth; may the Marut-born one's untroubled might establish them; may the Sāmans be set; O foremost Seers, may the measure of heaven be hallowed; may the maker and lord spread the sky's span; may all your assemblies set the worshipper on the back of the sky, in the worlds of heaven.
