एकदा तु दुहितृस्नेहाकृष्टहृदयः स महीपतिर अतिदुःखितास ताः सुखिता वेति विचिन्त्य तस्य महर्षेर आश्रमम उपेत्य स्फुरदंशुमालां स्फटिकमयीं प्रासादमालाम अतिरम्योपवनजलाशयां ददर्श।।
ekadā tu duhitṛsnehākṛṣṭahṛdayaḥ sa mahīpatir atiduḥkhitās tāḥ sukhitā veti vicintya tasya maharṣer āśramam upetya sphuradaṃśumālāṃ sphaṭikamayīṃ prāsādamālām atiramyopavanajalāśayāṃ dadarśa||
Once, the king, whose heart was drawn by the affection for his daughters, deeply troubled, thought, 'Are they happy?' and approaching the ashram of that great sage, he saw a palace made of crystal, adorned with a garland of radiant gems and a delightful garden with water bodies.
