द्वारकावासिजनपदस तु तम आयान्तम अवेक्ष्य भगवन्तम आदिपुरुषं पुरुषोत्तमम अवनिभारावतरणायांशेन मानुषरूपधारिणं प्रणिपत्याह। भगवन भगवन्तम अयं नूनं द्रष्टुम आयात्य आदित्य इत्य आकर्ण्य प्रहस्य च तान आह। भगवान नायम आदित्यः सत्राजितो यम आदित्यदत्तं स्यमनतकाख्यं महामणिं बिभ्रद अत्रोपयाति। तद एनं विस्रब्धाः पश्यत इत्य उक्तास ते ययुः। स च तं स्यमन्तकाख्यं महामणिम आत्मनिवेशने चक्रे।।
dvārakāvāsijanapadas tu tam āyāntam avekṣya bhagavantam ādipuruṣaṃ puruṣottamam avanibhārāvataraṇāyāṃśena mānuṣarūpadhāriṇaṃ praṇipatyāha| bhagavan bhagavantam ayaṃ nūnaṃ draṣṭum āyāty āditya ity ākarṇya prahasya ca tān āha| bhagavān nāyam ādityaḥ satrājito yam ādityadattaṃ syamanatakākhyaṃ mahāmaṇiṃ bibhrad atropayāti| tad enaṃ visrabdhāḥ paśyata ity uktās te yayuḥ| sa ca taṃ syamantakākhyaṃ mahāmaṇim ātmaniveśane cakre||
Observing him coming, the Lord, the Supreme Person, in human form, bowed down and said, 'Surely, this is the Sun coming to see you.' The Lord said, 'This is not the Sun, but Satrājit, who possesses the great gem named Syamantaka.' They were told to see him with confidence.
