दानपते जानीम एव वयं यथा शतधन्वना तद अखिलजगत्सारभूतं स्यमन्तकरत्नं भवतः समर्पितं तद एतद राष्ट्रोपकारकं भवतः सकाशे तिष्ठतीति। तिष्ठतु सर्व एव वयं तत्प्रभावफलभुजः किं त्व एष बलभद्रो ऽस्मान आशङ्कितवांस तद अस्मत्प्रीतये दर्शयेत्य अभिहितः सरत्नः सो ऽचिन्तयत।।
dānapate jānīma eva vayaṃ yathā śatadhanvanā tad akhilajagatsārabhūtaṃ syamantakaratnaṃ bhavataḥ samarpitaṃ tad etad rāṣṭropakārakaṃ bhavataḥ sakāśe tiṣṭhatīti| tiṣṭhatu sarva eva vayaṃ tatprabhāvaphalabhujaḥ kiṃ tv eṣa balabhadro 'smān āśaṅkitavāṃs tad asmatprītaye darśayety abhihitaḥ saratnaḥ so 'cintayat||
O Lord of Charity, we know very well how the Syamantaka gem, which is the essence of the entire universe, is offered to you by the hundred-armed one. This is beneficial for the nation and stands firm in your presence. Let all of us, who partake of its effects, remain; but this Balabhadra, fearing us, is said to show it for our pleasure.
