गते च तस्मिन सुप्तम एव सत्राजितं शतधन्वा जघान मणिरत्नं चाददे। पितृवधामर्षपूर्णा च सत्यभामा शीघ्रं स्यन्दनम आरूढा वारणावतं गत्वा भगवते ऽहं प्रतिपादितेत्य अक्षान्तिमता शतधन्वनास्मत्पिता व्यापादितः। तच च स्यमन्तकमणिरत्नम अपहृतम। तद इयम अस्यावहासना। तद आलोच्य यद अत्र युक्तं तत क्रियताम इति कृष्णम आह।।
gate ca tasmin suptam eva satrājitaṃ śatadhanvā jaghāna maṇiratnaṃ cādade| pitṛvadhāmarṣapūrṇā ca satyabhāmā śīghraṃ syandanam ārūḍhā vāraṇāvataṃ gatvā bhagavate 'haṃ pratipāditety akṣāntimatā śatadhanvanāsmatpitā vyāpāditaḥ| tac ca syamantakamaṇiratnam apahṛtam| tad iyam asyāvahāsanā| tad ālocya yad atra yuktaṃ tat kriyatām iti kṛṣṇam āha||
When he had gone, the sleeping Satrājit was killed by the hundred bowman, who took the jewel. Satyabhama, filled with anger at the killing of her father, quickly mounted a chariot and went to the Lord, saying, 'I have been informed that my father has been killed by Satrājit.'
