Seeing the bear killed and even the lion in a small part of the land, the bear followed the footsteps of that gem-like lion. Establishing the entire Yadu army on the mountain's edge, it entered the bear's den following those footsteps. Half-entering, it heard the sweet voice of the nurse soothing the young one. The lion killed Prasena, and the lion was slain by Jambavan. 'Do not cry, young one, for this is indeed the Syamantaka.'
