Even though Satrājita was Acyuta, he understood that he would ask for this gem from his brother Prasena and gave him that gem. It produces all the qualities of gold when held by the pure. Otherwise, whoever holds it will perish. Prasena, too, went hunting mounted on the horse seized by Syamantaka and was killed by a lion. The lion, having killed him, was about to take the flawless gem in its mouth when it was seen by Jambavan, the king of bears, who also killed it. Jambavan then entered his cave with the flawless gem and made a toy for his delicate child.
