।।5.6।।संन्यासः ज्ञानयोगः तु अयोगतः कर्मयोगाद् ऋते प्राप्तुम् अशक्यः। योगयुक्तः कर्मयोगयुक्तः स्वयम् एव मुनिः आत्ममननशीलः सुखेन कर्मयोगं साधयित्वा न चिरेण एव अल्पकालेन एव ब्रह्म अधिगच्छति आत्मानं प्राप्नोति। ज्ञानयोगयुक्तः तु महता दुःखेन ज्ञानयोगं साधयति दुःखसाध्यत्वाद् दुःखप्राप्यत्वाद् आत्मानं चिरेण प्राप्नोति इत्यर्थः।
