।।14.17।।एवं परम्परया जाताद् अधिकसत्त्वाद् आत्मयाथात्म्यापरोक्षरूपं ज्ञानं जायते। तथा प्रवृद्धाद् रजसः स्वर्गादिफललोभः जायते तथा प्रवृद्धात् च तमसः प्रमादः अनवधाननिमित्तासत्कर्मणि प्रवृत्तिः? ततः च मोहो विपरीतज्ञानम्? ततः च अधिकतरं तमः? ततः च अज्ञानं ज्ञानाभावः।
