The Seven Sages are—Kfti the son of Vasi§jha, Sutapas of Atri’s family, Tapomurti of the Angiras race, Tapasvin of Kafyapa Gotra, TapoSyana of Pulastya family, Taporati of Pulaha Gotra and the seventh of them should be known as Tapomati of Bhfgu family. These are the Siddhas, the Seven Sages in the Savarnika Manvantara. The following are the sons of the twelfth (7) Manu : Devavan, Upadeva, Deva£re§fha, Viduratha, Mitravan, Mitrabindu, Mitrasena, Amitraha, Mitrabahu, and Suvargas.
