इ॒दं वा॑मा॒स्ये॑ ह॒विः प्रि॒यमि॑न्द्राबृहस्पती । उ॒क्थं मद॑श्च शस्यते ॥ अ॒यं वां॒ परि॑षिच्यते॒ सोम॑ इन्द्राबृहस्पती । चारु॒र्मदा॑य पी॒तये᳚ ॥ अ॒स्मे इ॑न्द्राबृहस्पती र॒यिं ध॑त्तꣳ शत॒ग्विन᳚म्। अश्वा॑वन्तꣳ सह॒स्रिण᳚म्॥ बृह॒स्पति॑र्नः॒ परि॑ पातु प॒श्चादु॒तोत्त॑रस्मा॒दध॑रादघा॒योः । इन्द्रः॑ पु॒रस्ता॑दु॒त म॑ध्य॒तो नः॒ सखा॒ सखि॑भ्यो॒ वरि॑वः कृणोतु ॥ वि ते॒ विष्व॒ग्वात॑जूतासो अग्ने॒ भामा॑सः शुचे॒ शुच॑यश्चरन्ति । तु॒वि॒म्र॒क्षासो॑ दि॒व्या नव॑ग्वा॒ वना॑ वनन्ति धृष॒ता रु॒जन्तः॑ ॥ ’ सुभगवि॒श्वद॑र्शतं त्वाम॑ग्ने॒ मानु॑षीरीडते॒ विशो॑ होत्रा॒विदं॒ विवि॑चिꣳ रत्न॒धात॑मम्। गुहा॒ सन्तꣳ ’ सु॒यजं॑ घृत॒श्रिय᳚म्॥ धा॒ता द॑दातु नो र॒यिमीशा॑नो॒ जग॑त॒स्पतिः॑ । स नः॑ पू॒र्णे न॑ तुविष्म॒णसꣳ वावनत्॥ धा॒ता प्र॒जाया॑ उ॒त रा॒य ई॑शे धा॒तेदं विश्वं॒ भुव॑नं जजान । धा॒ता पु॒त्रं यज॑मानाय॒ दाता॒ तस्मा॑ उ ह॒व्यं घृ॒तव॑द्विधेम ॥ धा॒ता द॑दातु नो र॒यिं प्राचीं᳚ जी॒वातु॒मक्षि॑ताम्। व॒यं दे॒वस्य॑ धीमहि सुम॒तिꣳ स॒त्यरा॑धसः ॥ धा॒ता द॑दातु दा॒शुषे॒ वसू॑नि प्र॒जाका॑माय मी॒ढुषे॑ दुरो॒णे । तस्मै॑ दे॒वा अ॒मृताः॒ सं व्य॑यन्तां॒ विश्वे॑ taittirIyasamhitA.pdf दे॒वासो॒ अदि॑तिः स॒जोषाः᳚ ॥ अनु॑ नो॒ऽद्यानु॑मतिर्य॒ज्ञं दे॒वेषु॑ मन्यताम्। अ॒ग्निश्च॑ हव्य॒वाह॑नो॒ भव॑तां दा॒शुषे॒ मयः॑ ॥ अन्विद॑नुमते॒ त्वं ’षि तारिषः ॥ अनु॑ मन्या॑सै॒ शं च॑ नः कृधि । क्रत्वे॒ दक्षा॑य नो हिनु॒ प्रण॒ आयूꣳ मन्यतामनु॒मन्य॑माना प्र॒जाव॑न्तꣳ र॒यिमक्षी॑यमाणम् । तस्यै॑ व॒यꣳ हेड॑सि॒ मापि॑ भूम॒ सा नो॑ दे॒वी सु॒हवा॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतु ॥ यस्या॑मि॒दं प्र॒दिशि॒ यद्वि॒रोच॒तेऽनु॑मतिं॒ प्रति॑ भूषन्त्या॒यवः॑ । यस्या॑ उ॒पस्थ॑ उ॒र्व॑न्तरि॑क्ष॒ꣳ सा नो॑ दे॒वी सु॒हवा॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतु ॥ ’ सुष्टु॒ती हु॑वे शृ॒णोतु॑ नः सु॒भगा॒ रा॒काम॒हꣳ सु॒हवाꣳ सू॒च्याच्छि॑द्यमानया॒ बोध॑तु॒ त्मना᳚ ददा॑तु वी॒रꣳ श॒तदा॑यमु॒क्थ्य᳚म् ॥ यास्ते॑ । सीव्य॒त्वपः॑ राके सुम॒तयः॑ सु॒पेश॑सो॒ याभि॒र्ददा॑सि दा॒शुषे॒ वसू॑नि । ताभि॑र्नो अ॒द्य सु॒मना॑ उ॒पाग॑हि सहस्रपो॒षꣳ सु॑भगे॒ ररा॑णा ॥ सिनी॑वालि॒ या सु॑पा॒णिः ॥ कु ॒हूम॒हꣳ सु॒भगां᳚ विद्म॒नाप॑सम॒स्मिन्, य॒ज्ञे सु॒हवां᳚ जोहवीमि । सा नो॑ ददातु॒ श्रव॑णं पितृ॒णां तस्या᳚स्ते देवि ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ कु ॒हूर्दे॒वाना॑म॒मृत॑स्य॒ पत्नी॒ हव्या॑ नो अ॒स्य ह॒विष॑श्चिकेतु । सं दा॒शुषे॑ कि॒रतु॒ भूरि॑ वा॒मꣳ रा॒यस्पोषं॑ चिकि॒तुषे॑ दधातु
a This oblation is dear in your mouth, O Indra and Brhaspati, The hymn and acclamation is recited. b This Soma is poured for you, O Indra and Brhaspati, Dear for delight, for drinking. c To us, O Indra and Brhaspati, Grant wealth of a hundred kine, Of horses a thousandfold. d From behind may Brhaspati guard us, From above, from below, from the plotter of evil; May Indra from the front, from the middle, Friend to friend, grant us wide room. e Sped by the winds on all sides, O Agni, Thy flames [1], O pure one, pure are diffused Mightily destroying, the divine ones, the Navagvas Assail the forests, rudely crushing (them). f Thee, O Agni, the tribes of men praise, Who knowest the Hotr's duty, discerning, best bestower of jewels, Who art in secret yet, O happy one, seen by all, Of impetuous spirit, a good sacrificer, brilliant with ghee. g May Dhatr give us wealth, The lord the ruler of the world, May he favour us with a full (gift). h Dhatr is lord of offspring and of wealth, Dhatr created all this world. Dhatr giveth a son to the sacrificer [2] To him let us offer the oblation rich in ghee. i may Dhatr give us wealth, Life in days to come and unfailing; May we obtain the favour Of the god whose gifts are true. k May Dhatr give wealth to the giver, Desiring offspring, generous in his home; Let all the immortal gods roll themselves up for him, The All−gods and Aditi in unison. l For us to−day may Anumati Among the gods favour our sacrifice, And be she and Agni, bearer of the oblation, A joy to the giver.
