They purified with splendid garments and well-clad raiment, with cows that give rich milk. They purified with the moon for our benefit, golden-horsed Soma, charioteer of the gods.
Bring us handsome garments, bring us, when you are purified, cows easily milked; bring for our maintenance gratifying gold; divine Soma, bring us horses fit for chariots.
Pour on us garments that shall clothe us meetly, send, purified, miIch-kine, abundant yielders. God Soma, send us chariot-drawing horses that they may bring us treasures bright and golden.
