ए॒ष प्र॒त्नेन॒ वय॑सा पुना॒नस्ति॒रो वर्पां॑सि दुहि॒तुर्दधा॑नः । वसा॑नः॒ शर्म॑ त्रि॒वरू॑थम॒प्सु होते॑व याति॒ सम॑नेषु॒ रेभ॑न्
eṣa pratnena vayasā punānastiro varpāṃsi duhiturdadhānaḥ vasānaḥ śarma trivarūthamapsu hoteva yāti samaneṣu rebhan
By effort and youthful force he, renewed, milked the dew of the kine and gave the fatness. The garments’ coverings and threefold splendour pass indeed into the waters when offered in the rites.
Flowing with (his) ancient food, enveloping the forms of the earth, covering the house of sacrifice which has a threefold protection, (plural ced) in the waters he advances calling aloud at the oblations like a ministrant priest.
He, purified with ancient vital vigour, pervading all his Daughter's forms and figures, Finding his threefold refuge in the waters, goes singing, as a priest, to the assemblies.
