अक्रा॑न्समु॒द्रः प्र॑थ॒मे विध॑र्मञ्ज॒नय॑न्प्र॒जा भुव॑नस्य॒ राजा॑ । वृषा॑ प॒वित्रे॒ अधि॒ सानो॒ अव्ये॑ बृ॒हत्सोमो॑ वावृधे सुवा॒न इन्दुः॑
akrānsamudraḥ prathame vidharmañjanayanprajā bhuvanasya rājā vṛṣā pavitre adhi sāno avye bṛhatsomo vāvṛdhe suvāna induḥ
The first who stamped the print, prescribing ritual, created the peoples, ruler of the world. The bull in the sacred seat, immense Soma grew great—Indu the strong and beneficent proceeded.
The ocean, the royal (Soma), genitive rating progeny in the outstretched (firmament, the) supporter of the water traverses the universe; the showerer (of benefits), the brilliant Soma when effused increases abundantly in the elevated woollen filter.
In the first vault of heaven loud roared the Ocean, King of all being, generating creatures. Steer, in the filter, on the fleecy summit, Soma, the Drop effused, hath waxen mighty.
