Indra did not follow a wrong path; the two ways made the sacred flood perform the floodworks. The strong one, like an archer, broke obstructing sins and made the unbroken gifts.
Gratified (with our praises), Indu, flow into the large (vessel), granting us riches coming by holy paths and easily acquired; beating down the rākṣasas on every side as with a club, flow in a stream upon the elevated fleece.
Pleased with us, Indu, send us as thou flowest good easy paths in ample space and comforts. Dispelling, as 'twere with a club, misfortunes, run o'er the height, run o'er the fleecy summit.
