Bearing sweet streams, the one who asks for honey flows like dew; mountain milk shines on the body. Indu rejoices in Indra’s friendship; the god, rival of the gods, delights in strength.
Milked forth by the stones the Soma flows through the (sheep's) hair coming into contact (with the gods) with its sweet-flavoured stream; the divine exhilarating Indu desiring the friendship of Indra flows for the exhilaration of the deity.
Then in a stream he flows, milked out with press-stones, mingled with sweetness, through the fleecy filter- Indu rejoicing in the love of Indra, the God who gladdens, for the God's enjoyment.
