प्रास्य॒ धारा॑ बृह॒तीर॑सृग्रन्न॒क्तो गोभिः॑ क॒लशा॒ँ आ वि॑वेश । साम॑ कृ॒ण्वन्सा॑म॒न्यो॑ विप॒श्चित्क्रन्द॑न्नेत्य॒भि सख्यु॒र्न जा॒मिम्
prāsya dhārā bṛhatīrasṛgrannakto gobhiḥ kalaśām̐ ā viveśa sāma kṛṇvansāmanyo vipaścitkrandannetyabhi sakhyurna jāmim
He poured a great stream, milked by kine, into jars; he entered with cows. Make songs, O sages, another wise one sobbing aloud—thus the friend took the draught home.
His copious streams flow forth; blended with the milk and curds he enters the pitchers; uttering chants the skilful chanter (Soma) hasten invoking (the gods) towards (the cups) like (a libertine) to the wife of a friend.
His streams have been effused in all their fulness, and he hath entered, balmed with milk, the goblets. Singing his psalm, well-skilled in song, a Chanter, be comes as 'twere to his friend's sister roaring.
