ऋषि॑मना॒ य ऋ॑षि॒कृत्स्व॒र्षाः स॒हस्र॑णीथः पद॒वीः क॑वी॒नाम् । तृ॒तीयं॒ धाम॑ महि॒षः सिषा॑स॒न्सोमो॑ वि॒राज॒मनु॑ राजति॒ ष्टुप्
ṛṣimanā ya ṛṣikṛtsvarṣāḥ sahasraṇīthaḥ padavīḥ kavīnām tṛtīyaṃ dhāma mahiṣaḥ siṣāsansomo virājamanu rājati ṣṭup
The seerlike ones, the makers of seers, with thousandfold paths and ranks of poets—third is the abode of the great bull; Soma, the effulgent, moves and rules in succession.
Thinking as a ṛṣi, acting as a ṛṣi, gaining heaven, praised by thousands, the guide of the wise, the mighty Soma desiring to attain the third region (heaven), being praised adds lustre to the illustrious (Indra).
